Ok, so who is the baby daddy?

OP posts:
panegyricS1 · 10/08/2016 20:18

Nick might offer to "be" the baby's father.

PinkPearls20 · 10/08/2016 20:18

We see the dog having a pee on the lamp post outside the salon sometimes Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 10/08/2016 20:20

Oh maybe Audrey has had enough of smelling the pee outside the salon and does him in with a pair of clippers?

Pan - that's what I am hoping happens.

panegy that seems to be the way it is heading. However if the baby comes out looking gormless, exasperated or hangdog, everyone will clock it as the fruit of Steve's loins.

Flowerpower41 · 12/08/2016 15:34

Could they ensure Audrey has at least a decent hairdo since she always looks so messy and quite frumpy even - for somebody running a hair salon!

Flowerpower41 · 12/08/2016 15:36

Another thing - where is Maria's child these days there is no sign of one in the script at all! Very odd. I have forgotten whether it is a boy or a girl - girl I think ...

Clawdy · 12/08/2016 15:40

Wasn't he sitting at a table in a kids' party scene a couple of weeks ago?

Clawdy · 12/08/2016 15:41

Definitely a little boy!

LikeDylanInTheMovies · 12/08/2016 15:44

Sue Nichols has had that hairstyle since she was in Reggie Perrin in the 70s. Mind you, Flower we shouldn't blame Audrey as it would have been David or Maria who cut it for her.
In fact given the choice of two hairdressers you should pick the one with the worst hair, because the other one will have cut it.

eddiemairswife · 12/08/2016 17:30

I wondered about Little Liam with both Maria and Luke at the house-warming, but then remembered Caz was living with them so she could be babysitting; or even the dearly beloved, soon to be mourned Ozzie.

pussinasda · 12/08/2016 18:23

i dont understand why maria lives in that poky little flat above the hairdresser when she had the money from selling her house to dev (i think) plus selling liams share of the factory.

LikeDylanInTheMovies · 12/08/2016 18:23

Spoilers say it is Ozzy the Hound who's due to snuff it. Rumours have been ride that he and Eccles had artistic differences and his torrid affair with the dog who plays Rover led to his departure.

Why does no one in Corrie have a pet cat? I can imagine Norris being big into the world of cat fancy somehow.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 12/08/2016 19:44

I would say Norris is more of a budgie fancier.

OP posts:
eddiemairswife · 12/08/2016 22:29

I also have wondered about the lack of Corrie cats. Many, many, many years ago Minnie Caldwell had a cat, but I don't know if it was ever seen.

LikeDylanInTheMovies · 12/08/2016 23:19

I suppose a cat would be harder to train, would wander in and out of shot, licks its arse during during a dramatic scene etc.

Rachel0Greep · 17/08/2016 11:45

Haven't seen Corrie at all this week. I have no patience with some of the current storylines.

Twoseventhsaweasley · 19/08/2016 09:05

Liam is supposed to be seven. He was born in July 2009. The little boy who plays him looks a fair bit younger than that to me.

Jack Webster who was born in September 2010, and is therefore not quite six looks older.

I know I am being pedantic but it might matter later on when the boys are older and have their own storylines.

Flowerpower41 · 19/08/2016 11:50

I hope the production team at Corrie read the above feedback it may work wonders with the casting and script! We can but hope eh.

How on earth has Michelle had a positive pregnancy test? Didn't they start trying like a week ago??!!

HirplesWithHaggis · 19/08/2016 20:58

And how does a mature woman who is supposedly monitoring for her "fertile window" suddenly end up 5 days late? Confused Oh well, that's soapland! Grin

unimagmative13 · 19/08/2016 22:21

Wow! Steves super spunk and all these fertile women

SaggyNaggy · 19/08/2016 22:41

What happened with Liz pretending be Amy's mum and that bloke she was flirting with? Did it end or did it fizzle?

panegyricS1 · 20/08/2016 09:40

Saggy - I think the story was put on the back burner because Bev Callard needed some time off.

These sudden decisions to move are so unrealistic. Leanne decides to go to Liverpool to live. Simon agrees. Ken, the long-retired teacher, is researching schools; when did she tell him, she's always in the Bistro looking grim. Does anyone care anyway? It'll never happen.
