Corrie Thread - Things starting to improve? Or just wishful thinking? (No spoilers please)

Jason leaving has to help, he is more wooden than a clothes peg.

I wish Kym Marsh was properly leaving too - I feel they are taunting us with what could have been with all this cruise ship talk.

I quite like the way Amys character is developing. At the moment, she seems to be painted as someone a bit like Todd - not 'one or the other' but with good and bad traits, like, well, a normal person really! :) I like her feistiness and stubbornness and it's mostly age appropriate (she is 12 and coming to the end of Y7) but she doesn't seem to have Tracy's meanness or sociopathic tendencies!

Yes Amy seems pretty on the ball and has the measure of her mum. I have caught a few recent episodes and see that she doesnt want tracey around right now. Did something happen? Or is it building up to a storyline? Or just being a teenager?

I've known about the Leanne baby daddy storyline for a while- I quite like it for various reasons but won't say just now as dont want to give the game away!
Why is Maria so close to Caz' on off gf? That whole party storyline was cringe literally all could go I liked Luke when he started but not now. How its going to do 6 eps a week now god only knows

Haven't read anything about Maria and Caz but I think Caz will stalk her or hold her hostage.

That 'party' was so ridiculous. They could surely have mustered up a few children, even extras, and have Liam playing with them, in the park. Or some pretence anyway at having a child's party.

But then we couldn't have seen Luke look meaningfully at Caz, and finding whatever it was in the sink, a painkiller of some sort, I presume. Aaaargh! It's all just too annoying. Caz is such a dull character. I may have to avoid once she gets found out, which I am assuming this is building up to.

I remember yasmeen asking Caz about the army and she didn't seem to know much about it. So either she's never been in the army at all or she can't act either.

Got a laugh out of Corrie for the first time in ages. Was it a giant who called Leanne's door? She had to crane her neck to look at him. Or was the person walking on stilts, just to fool us Grin...

I agree. Paula Lane is a terrific actress and has done wonders with that character.

I reckon caz has been suspended from duty. Something to do with how her ankle got injured i'll bet. The person she was harranguing to change their story will have been a colleague who witnessed whatever happened.

It's a shame that Corrie don't keep big twists under wraps. Maybe this will change, with the new producer.

I really don't like the Leanne storyline. Opening the door to some giant that she had to crane her neck to say hello to. Then the door closing, and her looking all thoughtful, and the empty glasses.

I am a big fan of Jane Danson, I must add, great actress. Glad she is getting a central storyline regardless of how it was set up.
