Jason leaving has to help, he is more wooden than a clothes peg.

I wish Kym Marsh was properly leaving too - I feel they are taunting us with what could have been with all this cruise ship talk.

It had to be Zeedan as she spoke to Nick and Robert the day after and both didn't mention it.
It doesn't fit with Zeedan waiting till he was married though.

Powergower · 30/06/2016 09:30

Its rubbish and likely to get worse with more episodes. Can hardly bring myself to watch it. I've sky plussed it and haven't even got to carlas wedding episode yet.

Clawdy · 30/06/2016 09:30

Phelan as a character would be far more interesting if he wasn't such an obvious villain, constantly smirking behind people's backs. That ridiculous scene where he walked up the street saying loudly on his phone "Did anyone see you torch the van?"

KenDoddsDadsDog · 30/06/2016 09:56

And Zeedan wouldn't drink wine ?

Olddear · 30/06/2016 11:18

Think Zeedan is Muslim, so probably not. Wasn't there something a week or two ago, can't remember, where he was offered food or drink and he said it was Ramadam.....?

southeastdweller · 30/06/2016 11:26

I think there was some genuine emotion in that last scene yesterday and the acting was decent from everyone.

absolutelynotfabulous · 30/06/2016 11:29

I like the Leanne actress. I think Corrie's improved lately as a rule.

Completely agree. But Corrie seems to feel viewers need everything to be done in the most obvious way possible. No way could the viewers figure things out for themselves Hmm.
Similarly annoying, when Phelan arranged for stuff to be stolen from the yard. Not a soul on the street saw/ heard anything happen.

I also hate that 'Macca' nonsense, 'all de lads at de Dog and Gun'... For one thing, Gemma looks like she could beat the crap out of any of them single handed, never mind being supposedly fearful of them turning on Jason.

I think Corrie has been more watchable lately because it has been mostly people who can act, who have been centre stage. The likes of Kylie, David, Sarah and Todd. Unfortunately, I think Tracy is about to reappear for more over-acted nonsense, so it will be rubbish again.

katemiddletonsnudeheels · 30/06/2016 18:09

Ooh new thread.

I'm finding it all boring still, sorry ...

Flacidunicorn · 30/06/2016 19:03

Just been reading about Jason leaving, I was a bit amused by this line:

The star hasn't yet revealed what direction he plans to take his career in next but has reportedly signed up for acting lessons.

You'd think after 15 years of acting for a decent wage he'd know how to do it by now. Grin

mollie123 · 30/06/2016 19:32

I was expecting a Neighbours style wave-off for Jase - but it was just Phelan and the family mostly.
Others have left with one suitcase in a streetcars taxi to a crowd outside the Rovers Smile
I think there is something going on with Leanne and Steve - as they had a bit of a moment in the street! but perhaps not as Michelle is back.

Todd was on key 103 radio and has said he is releasing music so maybe he will be leaving soon.

Eastie77 · 01/07/2016 13:18

I'm guessing Leanne will fall pregnant and there will be a Who's The Daddy storyline? I don't think it will be any of the three suspects. My money is on Steve!

Rachel0Greep · 01/07/2016 13:24

I wish Corrie would keep stuff under wraps, so that there could be the occasional good twist. Even if one avoids spoilers, deliberately, the front covers of soap mags give everything away, at a glance.

So, yes, I know without even seeking out spoilers, who was at the door, and what storyline comes next. Hmm

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 01/07/2016 14:39

The soap mags gave it away didn't they? I'm sure I saw on the cover of one that said 'Leanne's pregnant! *** the dad?'

I won't say the name though.

Olddear · 01/07/2016 19:56

Izzy's crying. It's brutal.

ArrestedDevelopment · 01/07/2016 20:42

Even Gary is laughing at her acting whilst she is crying!

RudeElf · 01/07/2016 20:45

I cant cope with izzy anymore. Please tell me she's going to prison for a long time? Theyre as unrealistic with all the other storylines so might aswell send her down for 13 years Grin

Olddear · 01/07/2016 20:48

2months. It's not nearly enough.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 01/07/2016 20:56

I am totally gutted by that sentencing. She didn't deserve that. She deserved 20 years.

OP posts:
RudeElf · 01/07/2016 20:57

For her crimes against acting alone!
