Oh FGS! If that storyline happens i'm done with corrie. I've been dipping in and out for months (there was a time I never missed an episode!) but this is just awful. No corrie, not acceptable. Fix it now!

As already said by someone else, Leanne wasn't able to have children was she - I think when she was with Peter she found out she had fertility problems, so it seems pretty unlikely she'd get pregnant after one night (except obviously in the Corrie scriptwriters world )

Yes i am sooo fed up of pregnancy being a storyline in soapland. Its so predictable and lazy. I get that they have to produce the next generation of bad characters but stop making all the pregnancies about an affair and "who's the daddy". Its dull now.

It's true! Happy family, solid career, try for a baby- you'll have fertility problems or one of you will have an affair or die and leave the older holding the baby.

Single, job as a waitress or barmaid, not in a long term relationship- you will immediately get pregnant from a one night stand.

There's also been no mention at all of how Hope's getting on after her cancer treatment - no follow-ups, how she's doing at school etc - another child that's just disappeared.

Yup. They never do a serious storyline properly to the end. I think Hayley's was the last proper story the did. And it was done so well. What happened??
