Jason leaving has to help, he is more wooden than a clothes peg.

I wish Kym Marsh was properly leaving too - I feel they are taunting us with what could have been with all this cruise ship talk.

I think the discovery of Calum's body would probably have been more newsworthy than his actual demise, maybe just as a filler on a slow news day.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 05/07/2016 06:33

Dev and the bloody waxing. Angry

NuggetofPurestGreen · 05/07/2016 07:02

Do Andy and Steph live in Jason's flat near the Kabin? That's two beds isn't it because Tina and Steph lived there.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 05/07/2016 07:11

Or am I mixing that up with the flat on the builders yard?

ThatAnneGirl · 05/07/2016 09:13

I think it's a bit of both I think they live in a two bed flat where Steph used to live with Tina above the builders yard. I seem to remember when Rob chucking her off the balcony that it was ridiculous that anybody would build a flat with a balcony overlooking a builders yard.

One of my mums favourite games is working out who lives in which flat.

Rachel0Greep · 05/07/2016 11:07

I never remember where people live. There must be two bedrooms wherever they are because Michael stayed with them for ages before.
Just after he found out that Andy was not his son, and he could forgive him sponge off him and Steph but couldn't forgive Gail. Hmm

I didn't watch last night, might catch up later.

Rachel0Greep · 05/07/2016 11:08

I didn't even think about that, aah bliss, sitting on the balcony, gazing over the builders yard... Grin

cupidsgame · 05/07/2016 11:58

The scene with Bethany and the girl bullies chanting "psycho, psycho" was typically pathetic and over the top. Where do they get their script writers from.

Flacidunicorn · 05/07/2016 12:00

Anyone remember when Eileen was sharpwitted, clear of thought, strong amd capapble?

She seems to have been turned into a moron,
"Has the rent rise come from Jason?"
"Actually no, it was pats idea and im just dumb enough to not realise im being manipulated"

"All that ppison came from micheal" says pat,
"Actually Pat, it was you that threatened them with eviction, but im a bit too dim to realise it was you so ill just agree, might as well start giggling like an air head school girl, teeheee"

Its getting ridiculpus, i didnt think it could get more ridiculous, but its somehow managing it.

Rachel0Greep · 07/07/2016 20:19

Corrie tonight at 8.30.

Flacidunicorn · 07/07/2016 20:21

Damnit it Rachel, i was trying to forget when it was on.

Grin
Rachel0Greep · 07/07/2016 20:28

Oops Grin

Wishfulmakeupping · 08/07/2016 17:29

Just caught up with latest episode I would love to see Leanne and nick back together I know that's very unlikely given the upcoming storyline with Leanne but stranger things have happened on the street.

theliverpoolone · 08/07/2016 17:50

Steph's flat was originally a one-bed flat when just Tina lived there - David stayed on the sofa for a few days until it got 'too crowded'. When Katie and Joseph moved in, it miraculously transformed into a 2-bed Hmm

Does anyone remember, did Sean first appear on the Street and move in with Eileen because he was going out with Todd? Just watching them last night I was trying to remember if they'd ever been a couple and how Sean had ever arrived in the first place.....

mollie123 · 08/07/2016 18:37

according to TV guide - it is on at 7.30 and 8.30 - aah deep joy Smile

southeastdweller · 08/07/2016 19:31

Sean and Todd have never been an item. Sean came into the show via Todd as Todd's first boyfriend was friends with Sean.

unimagmative13 · 08/07/2016 19:43

Sean admitted he loves Todd (I think Todd strung him along?)

Clawdy · 08/07/2016 22:52

Amy's feistiness has now become obnoxious and totally unrealistic. I keep wanting Tracy to give her a good slap and say "Now you've got something to moan about! "

Olddear · 09/07/2016 09:19

Yes, I think Amy has become very nasty actually. Can't have been much happened between Mary and Dev, he still had his black boxer shorts on.

Rachel0Greep · 09/07/2016 11:59

I think the writers go OTT with Amy. Hopefully this might improve with the new person in charge.

I don't think we are meant to believe anything happened between Dev and Mary, apart from (literally) sleeping together Grin

southeastdweller · 10/07/2016 21:55

Amy is like Kirk, I don't believe in her as a character, she's too cartoony. I know it's a soap, so some characters have to be heightened, but there's a limit.

Apart from Amy, I liked the Friday episodes. Todd and Tracey's scene where he gave the flowers was lovely and him and Billy have great chemistry, which is what Billy and Sean didn't.

millimat · 10/07/2016 21:56

No I think the only person who thinks something went on between dev and Mary is Dev.

ThatAnneGirl · 10/07/2016 22:08

When Robert was talking to Amy on the bench (is it Maxine's bench?) you could really see his new improved greying hair. His Lego head is no more.

Clawdy · 10/07/2016 22:09

Todd was a nice boy when he first appeared in Corrie. Then he returned and became a smirking evil villain. And now he's becoming a nice boy again!! Could this happen to Phelan......?Grin

Rachel0Greep · 10/07/2016 22:12

Almost afraid to say, in case I jinx it, but I think there are some very slight improvements in the most recent episodes.

I know it was totally silly, but I did enjoy the Mary/ Dev scenes. They are funny together.

For once, there was another dimension to Tracy, being grateful to Todd for preparing the flowers and bringing him and Billy together.
