Jason leaving has to help, he is more wooden than a clothes peg.

I wish Kym Marsh was properly leaving too - I feel they are taunting us with what could have been with all this cruise ship talk.

I thought he'd taken money out to pay for his paperGrin

Eastie77 · 25/11/2016 18:06

Wonder if they are building up to some kind of mental illness storyline with Daniel. His paranoia and odd behaviour suggests it.

I hope the Peter/Leanne joke in the Kabin and Nick's jealousy doesn't mean we are in for another love triangle between those three.

BreconBeBuggered · 25/11/2016 23:08

Who spotted the jazz hands and pearl-clutching references in tonight's episodes? I thought there'd be reams of posts waving at Corrie scriptwriters.

Comedyusername · 26/11/2016 00:44

Corrie at its best when there's humour

Sativa · 26/11/2016 10:31

Why does Ken keep forgetting to talk out of the side of his mouth? One minute he was in the florist's having a normal conversation and then he was back to side-talking. The same thing happened when he was in his hospital bed ! Surely the producers would point this out ?

Xmaslover · 26/11/2016 15:52

Does anyone else get a Norman bates vibe with Daniel ? Especially when he goes off on one defending his mother?

SymphonyofShadows · 27/11/2016 07:16

Daniel reminds me a bit of Sean. In a bad acting kind of way.

Patienceandchocolate · 27/11/2016 08:03

Does anyone else think that Tracey, Peter and Adam have treated Daniel really badly? He is an adult who has arrived to try to spend time with, and assist with the care of his father. It is nobody else's business who he does or does not live with. As for stealing his keys and sneaking in to his flat, that is appalling behaviour. I know that Tracey is supposed to be a piece of work, but why didn't Peter try to stop her?

I think this is all leading up to another storyline about Daniel and his mother, but they could have found a better way for his past and living situation to come out.

eddiemairswife · 27/11/2016 14:16

I wonder how Daniel got to know about Ken's stroke. He hadn't seen him for 5 years, so how did Tracy and Peter know how to contact him? And it seems strange that Daniel was visiting Ken in hospital each day without letting the other family members know.

Eastie77 · 27/11/2016 15:45

Tracy told Peter to ring round and tell all Ken's relatives that he'd had a stroke but I also wonder how he knew how to contact Daniel. Very odd that Daniel apparently lives a bus ride away and no-one has visited or mentioned him for years.

eddiemairswife · 27/11/2016 15:54

I wonder if Ken has contributed anything towards Daniel's up keep during the last 21 years,

Millimat · 27/11/2016 16:45

Has the kitchen table in gails house shrunk? Hmm

theliverpoolone · 27/11/2016 23:11

Ken's portrayal of a stroke victim has been really inconsistent, but then he's never actually been able to act at the best of times, so no real surprise.

Agree that Adam, Tracy and to a lesser extent Peter's treatment of Daniel has been awful - bullying and nasty. Although Tracy's sudden turn-round when he told them about his mum leaving him was rather out of character!

Akire · 28/11/2016 00:08

How is everyone affording to stay at home? Everyone lives close enough to pop in few hours so don't know why Tracey needs cut hours down.

Peter seems to have given up his job at drop of hat. Daniel no idea if he works but again no job and then the other one.

Who's supposed to be paying for the flat over Devs? And all bills food for everyone?

Rachel0Greep · 28/11/2016 13:54

I've been watching on and off lately but have the gist of what is going on.
Same here, sometimes when I see Ken, I think it is that he is supposed to be recovered. After all, that hospital does seem to do miracle cures. Then the next time I see him, he is apparently still suffering the effects of the stroke.

What income would Ken be supposed to have, I wonder? Pension(s) of some sort? Presuming there is no mortgage on the house at this stage, there would still be all the other bills, including utilities and food. Fair play if he can pay all of them.

Who is supposed to be running the flower shop if Tracy is reducing her hours Wink... Todd is no longer there, I think anyway. And Mary who is a Jill of all trades must be flat out between minding the twins, and all of the other businesses she can slot into at the drop of a hat. Grin

Eastie77 · 28/11/2016 14:07

When Ken remembers to talk out of the side of his mouth he reminds me of Don Corleone (Godfather).

Peter should be collecting the rent money from his old flat where Anna still lives and when he came back didn't he tell her he had to increase the rent due to his own cash flow problems? All seems fine now though since presumably he can finance the rent on Dev's flat for the other twoConfused.

eddiemairswife · 28/11/2016 14:22

Ken will have his old-age pension as well as teachers' pension, which will depend on how long he was teaching. I assume Tracy makes some financial contribution. Goodness knows about Peter's finances; he had dodgy phone calls when he first returned, but they seem to have dried up. Adam is the mystery; obviously suspect because of the car scam. Wasn't he the one Ken went to Canada to look after? So is he still based there?

deloresclaiborne · 28/11/2016 15:38

its only on once tonight

eddiemairswife · 28/11/2016 22:06

I'm surprised Norris hasn't been in touch with Social Services about Kevin's little boy. No-one appears to be looking after him when Kev is in the pub; Sophie is in Miami ,and Sally is often in the Rover's at the same time.

Gingergin · 28/11/2016 22:54

Peter turned up with a black eye didn't he, thought there was going to be an explanation of that.
Did Sophie go to Miami, remember her talking about going but didn't see her go?! You'd think she'd be in the thick of it with the Caz storyline.

SymphonyofShadows · 29/11/2016 08:19

Is Peter actually paying for the flat or did he just sort it with Dev? Presumably the other one with the dodgy car story is supposed to have some cash so they would expect him to pay his way.

Rachel0Greep · 29/11/2016 15:52

Just half caught it last night, was Daniel searching through stuff...what do they expect to find Grin
The other guy was searching another evening, I presume he is strapped for cash.
