I still would like to think that Jon, Danny, and Tyrion are the thread headed dragon.

North, Sansa is stupid, but not THAT stupid, surely? And isn't she married to Ramsay anyway? Or perhaps Tyrion?

If that synopsis is real, it surely relates to episode 10, not 9, don't you think? And I agree that Dany is more likely to admire Yara than Theon!

If Sansa marries Littlefinger she's getting a virtual slap.
Surely she's learned her lesson by now?

I've got. Side theory.

I've not read the books but when people are brought back it seems to have some effect on them yeah? Johns seemed tired since he came back. What if this week we see his temper snap and the tiredness go?

Abd he acts out of character.

What if John isn't the hero? Dany seems to be going slowly insane - why shouldn't John also unravel?

De-lurking to add my mini-theory:
Jon looks a bit vacant in the trailer - wondering if he wargs into Ghost in the battle? Maybe that's what has changed in him after his resurrection.

Sorry I didn't mean to make anyone feel like they can't post what they want in the way of spoilers, I was just reading everyone else's posts saying "PM me!" and it was my way of explaining I wouldn't be asking for a PM. I do love speculation and theories, was just worried this person had actual inside info so it made me paranoid!

Anyway, just wanted to explain I didn't mean to come across as disapproving to anyone's posts.

I worry sometimes that people find the thread and perhaps me specifically a bit "full on" - on another thread someone said that theres maybe too much IN THE BOOKS stuff.

I hate people to feel they couldn't come on the thread for any reason.

The spoiler policy was really so that people who hadn't yet watched that weeks episode at 2am/6am didn't tread on ZOMG HODOR DIED type news before 10pm not so that we could give everyone every detail. And the beauty is now that we CAN'T - I mean years ago, I knew about Robb, and Catelyn and Joffrey etc but now we are (book readers) as much in the dark as the rest of you so any "spoilers" are speculative anyway.

What is in the PM is just a feery I think I'm unsure it's concrete.

You simply can't police that number of extras on a set without something getting out.

I love Jon, too. Not as much as Jaime, but I am not a cradle snatcher Although is admittedly younger than me.

So do we expect next week to be all BoB? Is that what they did with Hardhome last season? I'm really quite terrified as to what twists there might be.
The ending to Hardhome was very mixed wasn't it, Jon got away but so many didn't and the Night King wasn't bothered - he's just coming for them all later. Do we think the wall is coming down this season? I think we'll then have 13 episodes left.

I really think the end of episode 10 will be the wall coming down.

I just watched the trailer. Interesting. Quite a lot of Roose in it and I wondered why. Especially the emphasis on "Do you feel like a victor?" Jon's army looks huge and it looks like LF is there so maybe LF and the Freys turn up ( im thinking of LFs line from a couple of eps ago about into the fray!) Don't think Jon will die, I think the line at the end is misdirection.

Ramsay is definitely going to get what's coming to him. And I suspect Davos will find out how Shireen died and murder Melisandre. Really hope Cersei survives, purely because Lena Headey is such an asset to the show. Her performance has got better with each season and if she goes then the show will suffer. Perhaps it'll end on a cliffhanger and we won't know who's survived until next season!

I really want Davos to avenge poor Shireen.

I keep seeing people mentioning battle of the bastards.

But what is that supposed to mean?

Jon and Ramsay are both bastard sons, though Ramsay's father legitimated him eventually.

So the battle of the bastards would mean a fight between Jon and Ramsay?

It's the title of the next episode, referring to Ramsay versus Jon.

It's just occurred to me that the episode titles usually have another meaning too. If there are scenes other than the Battle, maybe Gendry is finally back. I can't think of any other bastards though, unless the rumours about Tyrion are true.
