Well done pixie- I knew I recognised him from somewhere! I'm a Nashville fan too...I do remember him having a fling (loads of clothes off) with Raina James! Hope the new series starts soon.

cjwoofwoof · 04/05/2016 14:01

I looooove Nashville too rich and pix but I don't remember him in that whatever was I thinking? He must look different in medieval leather scalloped shoulder pads. Why on earth would Rayna swap him for the oily weasel Luke Wheeler? You can't beat a good set of glutes, esp when only swathed in a tiny towel, sigh

cjwoofwoof · 04/05/2016 14:12

NOW I remember him - didn't he get Scarlett hooked on drugs whilst overworking her in both the studio and bedroom departments? lucky cow

Richtea19 · 04/05/2016 15:27

Yes that's him, def better than Luke Wheeler, serial cowboy hat wearer! I refer to Scarlet as "cotton wool", are you a Decon or Teddy fan!

cjwoofwoof · 04/05/2016 15:58

Ooh defo team Deacon Rich he's so vulnerable and looks on the verge of tears all the time. Not exactly in my top totty department but brings out my mothering instincts rather than my reproductive. I like to think we could have a picnic down by the river chatanuga and write a few songs dedicated to me on our guitars, whilst wearing pink gingham and ten gallon hats etc.

I liked Teddy at the beginning and felt not a little sorry for him, always in Raynas shadow, but he became quite an evil schemer in the last series so no song writing and eating grits with him I'm afraid Sad

Did you hear that Hayden Panetierre really has got post natal depression like in the storyline so has been written out of the latest script? I'm sure I read that somewhere a while back. She's had a baby in RL with the Klitschko boxer chappie. He's about 7'6" and she's 4'11" I think Grin

Heligirl79 · 04/05/2016 21:14

Evening ladies. I loved Nashville, but missed the last series, as I didn't realise it was back on.

Meant to be another nice day tomorrow, but I am going to be spending it in a polling station. Just been giving DH instructions on how to sterilise bottles and how much milk to give bubs. He is looking a bit confused, so may need to write out a list. It's the first time he has had him all day, but we have three others, so it's not like he hasn't done it all before.

pixieg1rl · 04/05/2016 21:23

Ahh, another election worker heli. I will be counting ballots tomorrow night and Friday. This is the first time in years I really haven't felt like doing it.

MaddieMoo82 · 04/05/2016 21:29

Ooh cheers pix I'll need to up my iCloud storage at this rate Grin

Hope the counting passes quickly for your both tomorrow night pix and heligirl. I leave MrMads written instructions when I'm at work. I'm not sure he follows them but I feel better!

Heligirl79 · 04/05/2016 21:45

I did say that last year was going to be my last pix, but when the letter came through I thought why not. Never done the count, I know some people do both, but I'm ready for my bed

pixieg1rl · 04/05/2016 22:05

I've told myself I'm having a year off next year. I'm doing local elections, PCC and referendum this year.

Nickel45 · 04/05/2016 22:07

Hi heli and berlin, good to see you :)

I survived the freezing North of london and made it home, just emerged from the piles of washing. How can one weekend creat so much washing?! Lovely pics today, you'd think after all this time, I'd know not to look in here at work, oops!

Berlin585 · 05/05/2016 08:19

Morning all
Thanks for the welcome. It's a gorgeous day here and great news that it's going to last till the weekend too.
I hope everyone that's been unwell (littlies included) are on the mend. I'm a fellow Nashville fan too....Can't wait for it to return.
I hope polling day passes quickly pix and heligirl, are you in close seats....it must be a nightmare to have to do a recount!

Ilovelblue · 05/05/2016 08:25

Morning all. Such gorgeous weather again. Hope this isn't the only decent sun we get this year!

A friend of mine mans a polling station and says it can be hours and hours of boredom and then everyone turns up at once, usually after work. In my area, it's just the police commissioner voting today.

Ilovelblue · 05/05/2016 08:27

I never did say welcome Berlin! Love the name. Presume you've been there? What part of the country are you in?

Alwaysfrank · 05/05/2016 08:59

Morning all - checking back in after a mad spell. I have got saddled with a big project (not work related, something else) because the person who was doing it has thrown her toys out of the pram, so I'm busier than normal. Plus the cricket season is underway which takes up a lot of time in this house!

I can't believe we have three new posters after all this time - welcome!

Richtea19 · 05/05/2016 12:25

Beautiful day today and it's my day off! Gardening and reading today!

DS will be at the civic centre in town for counting votes tonight. He does it though the air cadets, he gets paid (not a lot) but that's the only reason he does it!

Does anyone have a Lidel supermarket near them? I had a tip off from a friend that lives near one locally that the French Lavender is 2.50 a pot, so that's what I'm planting out this afternoon!, sizeable plants too.

pixieg1rl · 05/05/2016 16:32

Listening to a conversation on the bus, a girl complaining that her SIL is "proper old. Like 40" while her brother is 29. I want to high 5 that woman.

Ilovelblue · 05/05/2016 19:45

Forty is nothing pixie, try 50 and above....

How's polling going?

KellyHb · 05/05/2016 21:02

Evening all.

Welcome along Berlin. Smile

Real life seems a bit crazy at the moment. We've been busy getting quotes from builders for work we need doing plus I've been sorting what's happening for my Uncle's memorial service.

It's in a couple of weeks but it's just me and my Dad going. I'll be driving all the way down to London as my Dad can't drive. I'll be shattered by the time I get there. Plus my Aunt lives just off one of the busiest parts of M25 at the junction right near Heathrow!! Shock Looked at prices for flying down or getting the train but they were really expensive. I suppose it'll be an adventure/road trip type thing too.

Hope the voting counting goes okay pix. I don't know how it works. Do you count as they come in or wait until the end?

pixieg1rl · 05/05/2016 21:35

Counting not started yet. Shattered already.

KellyHb · 05/05/2016 23:44

Poor pix. You'll get your reward in heaven as me old Nan used to say Smile

Nickel45 · 06/05/2016 00:02

Hope you aren't there too late pix x

Richtea19 · 06/05/2016 07:00

Morning all, hope all the counting went well last night. DS got home just after midnight.

Now for all th coverage this morning ....

pixieg1rl · 06/05/2016 08:28

I was home by around 4. Had a few hours kip and then back in to do next count this morning. We expect a bit of waiting around for that one. Macdonalds brekkie might be in order.

MaddieMoo82 · 06/05/2016 08:56

Ooh pix you must be knackered. Sounds like a McMuffin is definately in order!! Hope today isn't too bad.
