Obvs it was made-to-measure tailoring for iloves ample hip, so I can stitch in a few darts where necessary to give a snugger fit. If you think it's too conservative I'll ask nick if you can borrow her knitted lune pants above before I fob them off on her Christmas

Re Anthony Starr, he is a very talented Antipodean, and pretty to look at. He played a set of identical twins, one a lawyer, the other a criminal , in a very popular long running local series called "Outrageous Fortune". Worth watching, I think you'd enjoy it.

We have "Happy Valley", series 2 at present, playing three nights in a row over two weeks. What remarkable acting, especially JN who is absolutely rivetting. hate it that we get stuff so much later than you do.

Ditto to Happy Valley, a great series although not exactly laugh-a-minute. JN is very scary as a psychopathic killer and that actress out of Harry Potter (Moaning Myrtle?) is especially creepy, ugh! And Sarah Lancashire is simply brilliant in it.

Have you got S3 of Musketeers yet? Well worth a watch if you want to swash your buckle at some very lovely Frenchmen in leather thigh boots if you ask me

"Outrageous Fortune" is high octane "East Enders", only it's set in the western suburbs of Auckland and has a weird and wonderful cast of bogans, bent cops and Sheryl West, the fortyish boss lady of them all, She's played by Robyn Malcolm, probably our equivalent of Sarah Lancashire who I think is an incredible actress.As for AS's arse, Woof, plenty of those, and more, in OF.

Haven't been able to get on much really. Work has been a bit long and tiring this week and expecting more of the same tomorrow... Can't wait to finish tomorrow evening! Doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to get things done at the moment. Still not watched Versailles.... Has anyone seen it? Is it good and is the qs worth a look?

Hi all. Couldn't post last night as I had left my glasses at work and so anything I typed was likely to be gibberish as I can't see the screen properly without them. It looks as if it's been really quiet on here today and this thread has lasted more than a month - think that's the longest we've run on any of our threads.

Like Maddie, the weather has been great here. In fact it's been amazing all week. We've had over nine consecutive days of sunshine - we've had more this spring/early summer than we had the whole of summer 2015!

Thanks for the musketeer reminder mads. I'm in tonight on driving duty.. DS at a party No mum! A gathering! Armed with 4 beers, (but no doubt will be pinching everyone else's) and DH is at Epsom Racecourse today for the Derby.

He left this morning at 8am ready to meet the rest of the party (stag!) to board an open top bus. So if you hear on the news of a "Chav" group of men, drunk, that will be my husband!

Definite divide in the weather, it's been bloody glorious up here for the last week. I got burnt drinking wine instead of working outside yesterday afternoon!
