What was that about Jackie's parents coming into the house?? What were they like?

that was exactly my tought Aitch. Maybe BB had to fix it as people were threatening to walk if Jackie stayed. I read the other day the viewing figures had slipped since the Goodies went in. I love a good conspiracy theory.

Well there we go, I felt a bit sad watching that, but the interview should make good viewing.

I don't think there is a racist bone in Jakkies body, I just think she is dim and not the kind of person I would ever ever socialise with. I also don't think that there is anything in this "black" vote theory.

WHY do we find it acceptable for a middle aged woman to act like a total idiot on national televison. just, yuk. foul mouth, borderline racist (ignorance or lack of education really isn't an excuse when the information is available to you.) vile.

all this 'oh she's the salt of the earth' nonsense just doesn't cut it either. I'm working class. I find it offensive to be even vaguely lumped in with someone like that.

no, flutterbee, there is something in the black vote theory. definitely, it's a fact.

it's about the fact that apparently the black population isn't a community as such, in the way that say, Scotland is and can keep in the macdonald bros. but local geographic communities don't tend to get behind black women. and leona was mixed race and very pale, so the betting markets didn't respond to her in the way that it would have had she been darker skinned. it's all about money in the end, the colour of money is green and green only. it follows money, it's not a pc thing.

I may have to look into that further aitch and see what I can find I really am interested in what you are saying but can't quite see the correlation myself, because, when you look at the demographic that are the majority to vote on these shows you will see that most of them are children, young females mainly.

I will certainly look into it. Glad you mentioned it, its sad things like this that make me happy

i know flutterbee, sorry, wasn't directing at you per se - it's just all this poor jackiey stuff, she's got a foul mouth, knew what the possibilities were being involved in BB in the first place, and is , frankly as common as muck. she's a poor representation of 'normal' people as opposed to 'celebrities'.

I just can't understand how anyone actually LIKES her.

Just rememered Carrie and David Grant talking about the fact that black people never win popularity votes on TV when they were coaches on Fame Academy. they didnt go into details though.
