Other one massive!

What was that about Jackie's parents coming into the house?? What were they like?

Shilpa, awful, horrible stuck up woman. Must go. Leo, slimy, up himself, childish. Must go.

Didn't watch last night. Fill me in!

yeah - "I dont get this eskimo thing"

southeastastra · 16/01/2007 12:17

most shocking was ian topless in the diary room

LieselVentouse · 16/01/2007 12:19

Yes bad man boobs

bookends · 16/01/2007 12:23

Yes, put a shirt on Ian before you poke someone's eye out!

fuzzywuzzy · 16/01/2007 12:34

I'm wondering what India is making of all of this.

Shilpa thought that Big brother was of the same format as the Indian one.....she really should have checked out past video tapes.

I think personally it's fine not to like someone, that's life, I think calling someone a paki, claiming she wants to be white, asking her if she lives in a shcack is being racist.....

Riiight and when I get racist abuse hurled at me amongst other things, I really should thank my lucky stars I'm not in India.... (makes about as much sense as being told to eat all my vegetables as there are starving children in Africa).

AitchTwoOh · 16/01/2007 12:37

i'd forgotten about that, that was shocking yet hilarious when jade asked shilpa, bollywood goddess, if she lived in a house or a shack. she even repeated it, so she absolutely didn't think there was a problem with that line of questioning... i did piss myself laughing at that i must admit, but that was before events took a darker turn...

Handbagsrus · 16/01/2007 12:39

LV I don't like shilpa either, there has been lots of bullying on this thread too, by mothers to other mothers, it is a tv show, these are all people who are earning money for sitting in a house for 3 weeks, they all want fame and to boost their career. I don't like shilpa I don't care where she comes from or what colour she is.

Handbagsrus · 16/01/2007 12:41

I don't like any of them, they are all after the money and fame, if they are so famous and rich why are they on cbb?

AitchTwoOh · 16/01/2007 12:45

where's the lots of bullying been, handbags? i rather object to that.

LieselVentouse · 16/01/2007 12:47

There has been Aitch - you even had to stick up for me last night didnt you?

LieselVentouse · 16/01/2007 12:47

.. and I love you for it.

I certainly think that jade is very aware of her own stupidity and uses it to behave disgracefully

AitchTwoOh · 16/01/2007 12:53

i really, really, really think that she was just swearing as in [rolls eyes] or whatever. just being a little more explicit in the eye-rolling.
that was genuinely my interpretation of that post when i saw it, and it also appeared to be SR's explanation for it.
that is the problem with swearing online, though, it's difficult to see if it's directed at someone or just at 'the gods' iykwim? personally, smileys give me the heebie-jeebies but i use them here to clearly telegraph when i'm joking/smiling/winking etc, because things move so quickly.
i do think that you felt bullied, however, which is why i in all my saintly perfection tried to pour oil on troubled waters.

anyway, shuttup about that, everyone knows that you two are the same fucked-up person, sybilventeuse.

Handbagsrus · 16/01/2007 12:57

uh?

LieselVentouse · 16/01/2007 12:58

How dare you associate me with that potty mouth

LieselVentouse · 16/01/2007 12:59

Sorry handbags I have been accused on here of being racist just cause I said I dont like Shilpa - I also said I dont like Jade, Danniele and Jack but nobody seemed to hear that.

Handbagsrus · 16/01/2007 13:06

I think that is stupid it is like inverse racisism, why should it be race related? Just cos I or u don't like someone why should it be because of what colour they are? Anyway I could still not like shilpa if I was indian. She was laughing at the english accent when they said whale. Why should mothers on here bullying others? It is a tv show.

AitchTwoOh · 16/01/2007 13:08

where were mothers bullying mothers? (btw, have you ever been to a mums and toddlers group, handbags?)

tinkerbellie · 16/01/2007 13:09

i don't like shilpa either but it doesn;'t mean your racist!!
i'm not overly keen on any of them this year but i do think that shilpa is pretty two faced and tried to make outthat she has said or done anything wrong and then continiues to slag them all off to dirk and jermaine also she had decided not to like them before they had even been introduced to them you could tel by the look on her face when they came in (jade, jackiey and jack that is)
the others danielle is just a dick head and jo did actually stick up for shilpa until she thought she was going to give them all food poisoning
it makes me really angry that if someone isn't liked regardless ofthe reason,if there are black or asian it is said that the person who doesn't like them is racist (that comment will prob be racist!)
if they were picking on someone for having ginger hair like heat magazine was doing a while ago or if davina or anyone was saying something aboutthat and actually taking the mickey out of them for it nothing would be said

well i am telling you now i am going to start up a petition about gingerism!!!

LieselVentouse · 16/01/2007 13:09

On a bullying topic cause it got me thinking - I was bullied at school by someone who is now famous - well not really famous, she married someone famous and when I saw them get slated in the press I got a slight smirk on my chops which made me feel disgusted about myself cause I thought why am I getting pleasure from them being slated by the press cause that must be the ultimate hell.

LieselVentouse · 16/01/2007 13:10

I think gingers are gorgeous. Look at Nicole Kidman.

tinkerbellie · 16/01/2007 13:15

i'm not bothered by it anymore but it was hard at school
was just making a point that if someone had an argument with me i wouldn't start up a whole petition about being gingerist

LieselVentouse · 16/01/2007 13:19

Thats v. true and I dont see any of us Jocks jumping up and down when Jackie took the piss out of the Big Brother guy who was Scottish - in fact it makes me laugh when people try to take off the Scotts accent cause they always say stiupid stuff like "och aye the noo Jimmy".

AitchTwoOh · 16/01/2007 13:20

actually tinkerbellie, i'm going to come right out and say that your comment "it makes me really angry that if someone isn't liked regardless ofthe reason,if there are black or asian it is said that the person who doesn't like them is racist (that comment will prob be racist!)" is racist.

it's also not true. but it is something that racist people say. (that does not mean that i am saying you are a racist person, by the way, that's not how that particular venn diagram works necessarily).

in my experience, it is victims of racism who are least likely to start talking about their victimisation in those terms, precisely so that they do not invite comments like your last one.

i've met people of all shapes, sizes, colours and creeds who i haven't liked, and i reserve the right to think of myself as not racist (or probably more accurately in this society, 'trying very hard not to be racist').

Dislike shilpa all you like, but if you come on here and say that she's 'evil', 'manipulative', a 'bitch' and then indulge in lazy stereotyping, all the while unable to provide a real, concrete reason for your feelings then you can't be surprised if people call you to account.

and given that you don't know what colour i or anyone else is on this site, one can really accuse anyone of inverse racism, can they? for all we know, despite her Austrian name, LieselVonTrapp is actually an hugely pregnant African woman who just happens not to like Shilpa Shetty.
