Yue're absolutely right , she should know right from wrong,not excusing her at all, she very annoying, just meant that she does'nt seem to think about what she's saying or be aware of how shallow and bitchy she can be.........

I am Cleo fan really, although bit bout her becoming v famous as was my chosen name for bump if i have a girl-chose because was unusual.

Jade is not super bright, but she's not nasty, she's coming across as really considerate of everyone else in there. Whereas Danielle was really snidey about Ken when he accidentally revealed his "meat and two veg" right at the beginning, i thought it was really disrespectful and mean to laugh about it and keep going on about how it would give her nightmares, she seems to have a mental age of about 14. And as for that argument, and being Jade's new bessie mate, Jade said before she'd met Danielle about 3 times and Danielle seemed to just be trying to pick a fight for no reason. There are plenty of nice but dim people out there...it really is no excuse.

Shilpa, I've never seen her before. Danielle, ??? and Cleo, I do recognise her but still dont know where from.

Feathers, Shilpa is a Bollywood actress (quite famous apparently - she likens herself to an Angelina Jolie equiv), Danielle is a football WAG - her boyf is Teddy Sheringham (yes, he's a bit past it and actually has an 18 yr old son who would be closer to her in age!) and Cleo was the sexy lady in the Kenny Everett show, everytime there was a stereotypical sexy lady role, she was there in stilletoes, a tight and revealing top/dress and red lips. She looked fab back in those days and still looks fab now (don't you think she has a lovely voice?). Who else is left? Dirk is the Face from the A-team, Jack is Jade's boyf, Jade is Jade - nuff said!, Jo is from S Club 7, Ian is actually H from Steps (anyone know where the H was from?). Is that everyone?

Shilpa is coniving - she says what she likes and then when it all kicks off she looks at other people with these mocking faces as if "what happened there" - why did they kick off and then she goes to Jermaine and he's like "you have to be true to yourself" and bullshit like that.

I assume Claire thought it must have been obvious that she was joking - however it did seem odd to me.

According to another guest on BBLB Shilpa is more equivalent to (pre- Tom Cruise) Katie Holmes, rather than Angelina Jolie.

Unbelievable! They are the epitome of chav - as in uncouth, ignorant attitudes.

i really, really hope they broadcast this behaviour on the show. i am not saying that shilpa is perfect, just that she's had SO much to put up with. she's indian and lives in india, she will not have had people behave like this to her before.
i honestly don't get why the fact that she pulls a few exasperated 'help!' faces is equivalent to people being subtly racist behind her back. (actually pmsl at 'subtly'. it's not subtle at all, it's just that people are so right-on nowadays that they are frightened of calling it when they see it...)

This whole shilpa v the emotionally stunted, is quite an eye opener. The constant bitching and attacking indicates that they must fear her in some way. Perhaps she does not conform to the stereotype of 'subservient indian woman', who would make them feel better/stronger about their inadequecies. (It doesnt occur to them that they are equal; in their mind there is only better or worse). So they cling together, bitching and comparing.

Jade has never displayed compassion or warmth towards shilpa. Obviously Shilpa wants to defend herself and is now retracting from the group in as one does to protect oneself when one is being bullied. (A bit like Aisleyne).
Cue more bitching and bullying coz now The Indian is not making an effort. I keep telling myself these half- formed people do not represent the cream of British Society.

I'm still trying ot figure out what on earth Shilpa is doing in the BB house in the first place.

She is uber famous (for anyoen who watches bolywood movies), She's a huge moviestar in India, it's like having Julia Roberts or someone along those lines in the BB house. I had to watch the first show to confirm it, as we couldn't belive she was going in. Btw, Shilpa said she's been paid for twenty three days in the BB house......

actually dirk had a point when he was talking about how it's mad that everyone is desperate for a drink and how sad as a nation we have become. dirk, jermaine and shilpa's conversation last night was very interesting and really did show us brits in a bad light.
