Thought the standard had dropped a bit a few months ago, but it's really good again!

Great storylines with April/Jackson, Meredith sad new love interest , Hunt and Amelia, so many new complications!

I'm up to date with it but like a few other people I watch it out of habit. Amelia is a selfish whiny cow, Meredith just as pathetic.

There were a couple of greys episodes where Addison went over to settle in there and you get a few cross overs popping up throughout PP. I'm on the last season now, it's pretty good

It was never going to last anyway. In tv land powerful women never have successful marriages. Shame. It was a lovely relationship to watch develop. I'm hoping that April gets a happy ever after. What a bitch of a mother in law she has. Imagine that thread on mn Grin

I also want April and Jackson back together, I think things with Bailey and warren are tits up now so maybe they will balance it out with a happy story .- there will prob be an explosion and April gets stuck somewhere and goes into labour and Jackson has to deliver the baby then they reunite! She prob wont have any scans (there will prob be a court case) so it will be tense if the baby will have the condition when born.

Is anyone else thinking phantom pg with April? What with her refusing all scans etc.

Knew Bailey and Ben were in trouble when they did that episode with the pg tax accountant and Bailey stopped Ben from doing her tax returns.

I miss Addison too. Loved the episode when she was in Derek's trailer and peed in a bush and got fanny rash. That episode was so funny and GA is missing that.

Don't miss Derek though - always thought he was a smug twat. Think Meredith should have married that vet (from the Izzy and Denny days).

I loved Derek - hated all the angst & wish he'd married the nurse, but I did love him Grin

I wish they'd let Bailey be happy - I think Ben is great but they've been changing his character which is crap & that baby scene was horrendous.

A phantom pregnancy. That's interesting. Definitely a possibility.

I really want a happy ever after. I think the unhappiness level is really too high right now. The new heart doctor is going to cause ructions I reckon. Either dereks sister or meredith or both.

Its not a phantom pregnancy, the baby has been moving and even Jackson felt it. She also let Arizona scan her when she felt it move for the first time as she'd never felt that before and was scared something was wrong.

Tbh, they all irritate me, apart from Alex. I am finding it hard to really care about these characters now, whereas I used to love the old crew. I think it’s had it’s day but I will still watch.

I chart the downturn as occurring from Season 7 onwards post the shooting and the merger.

It has gone from funny and intelligent :

George and The STD, The Prom, Christina and The Leg, Christina's eyebrows

to very schmaltzy and soapy :

Over focus on sick kids, too many shock deaths, romantic pairings for the sake of it rather than actual chemistry

Like others I'm watching out of loyalty now and the fact that I've been following these characters for 15 years.

Does anyone also watch Scandal? I'm also looking forward to Shona Rhimes (writer) new series with Peter Krause

Surely Arizona wouldn't have a leg to stand on (too soon? Blush) with regards to custody of Sophia as she isn't a biological parent? Isn't she literally 'just' an ex step parent?
