I think if it was going to be someone big, they wouldn't have done a cliffhanger - Daryl or Glenn would have a big enough impact that the cliffhanger was unnecessary.

I'm still thinking Sasha or Abraham.

Daryl would irritate lots of people. The mid-season finale and the first few episodes of this half of the season had us thinking Glenn was dead (although most of us had cracked it, we were supposed to think he was a goner).

I can't decide on Michonne. It doesn't feel like she's been around enough recently for it to follow but Rick's lovers do tend to meet terrible ends!

Sasha is a total non presence in my mind, I'll be very "meh" if it's her. I think if it was Carl then Rick would just go postal and get everyone killed, he would be too broken to be of any use to Negan. I don't think it will be Maggie don't know why I think there's more left in maggie's pregnancy story

I don't think it can be Carl because they said to cut his eye out and feed it to Rick if anyone tried to stop the killing, which suggests they are both fine?

I feel the same about Sasha but she has been involved in the fighting recently, and in a love triangle with Rosita and Abe, and they did have that "Would you have a baby?" conversation in the RV.

I agree that it's probably not Maggie, either.

I originally thought that but feeding carl's eye to rick doesn't actually prevent beating Carl. And actually the other way round still works too.

It must be someone big since they have spoken about the next season being about how they all cope with the loss. It just wouldn't have that much of an impact if it was Sasha, Rosita Abe or Eugene.

Carl is a problem given that he's already too old for the timeline but to make it Carl would be a massive departure from the comics and the Negan storyline. Plus it doesn't fit with the keep quiet or I'll cut carl's other eye out storyline.

I do rather think Rik is long over due a little tap on the head with Lucille. He has gotten quite cocky and greedy lately. The whole having a van full of supplies stolen and ultimately lost was very sloppy on his part. You find a van full of food you get that shit back home ASAP. You don't keep driving around with it.

He didn't do his homework before ambushing Negans crew either

If it's Glen then Maggie would probably pass out anyway with the shock, particularly given her current state.

Can someone with a better memory than me please help me remember a about when Dwight and Daryl first met? Is he the one that was with the two girls in the forest. The one girl died in the greenhouse. They pretended to be good and then took Daryls crossbow and motorbike? Is that right? Why is Dwight burnt? He wasn't before, was he?

That was Dwight, yes, with the girls. They ran away from the Saviors and seemed to think that Darryl might have been something to do with the Saviors. They captured Darryl but Darryl got away and then rather sweetly returned their pack to them because there was a diabetes kit in it and he realised one of the girls would need it. But then Dwight and the surviving girl tricked Darryl and took his motorbike.

Dwight was then apparently recaptured by Negan and burned with an iron. He seems to be very loyal to the Saviors again, thought. He shot and killed Denise, actually aiming at Darryl.

I think we're supposed to think Dwight was burnt as punishment?

Sasha had a crazy couple of episodes where she was killing walkers in the woods and putting them in a big hole, then she laid on top of the pile of them.

And I think Sasha and the pit was back in season three or four, when she went to Woodbury (sp) and the Governor was around. Back when Tyreese and Karen were still around.

I also have no attachment to Sacha despite her being in it for a good while now. Don't think we've heard about her backstory though which often makes me warm to a character. Could be wrong.

I feel like it'll have to be a very established character that is killed, partly to justify the huge bloody wait but also as somebody already mentioned they haven't killed off a well-loved character since Beth (possibly Tyreece even though he wasn't in it as long). It gets boring if they simply introduce new characters and kill them off to avoid killing long-timers. That annoying little douche Sam died as well as his mum and brother Ron, and other Alexandrians like Deanna, Denise etc but I didn't care about any of them. In fact I LOVED it when Michonne slayed Ron for trying to kill Rick! I had to Google these names which says it all really.

He ought to feel uncomfortable. Darryl did the decent thing to his party by returning to hand over the diabetes kit. Then later on Dwight killed Denise, a female doctor, i.e., useful human being, by mistake. Now he's involved in more horrific violence.

I wonder if Dwight will be good in the end, I think he was trying to escape from the saviours when he met Daryl the first time, unless I'm just naively believing him there...?! Maybe that's why he's been burned, because he tried up escape. If it's true that Negan won't kill injured people then Dwight saved Daryls life by shooting his face.

It doesn't matter how many endings they did or didn't shoot.
Surely they are not going to hire an actor whose character has been killed off to hang around the set from next month onwards?
They is a dedicated spoiler WD group on Facebook. They've going to post about an absent actor/actress more or less straight away.

In the same way people knew Glenn couldn't be dead after DumpsterGate because the actor was seen shooting scenes with new characters everyone will know who is dead way before October.
