Corrie thread - How many more implausible plots until the new person takes over? NO SPOILERS PLEASE

Have started a new thread as the old one was nearly full and people wanted a "No spoilers" message in the title.

Are we placing too much hope in the new producer? How the hell are they going to get out of the plot holes?

I read the other day that the Les Battersby actor was seen at the studios. I am hoping that was a bad-taste April Fool's joke.

Nick looked ancient leaning against that brick wall. I had to have a second look!

It's a shame that the most gripping thing about Corrie these days is the state of health of the actors.

I quite liked some of tonight's . I thought the running joke about Nick's casual wear was quite funny, and some of the linkages between people sleeping/not sleeping and having watched the same TV programmes. Just normal everyday stuff like they used to do.

I wish ty would knock his front room through, I get depressed just looking at it never mind the eye boggling wall paper. Most of room is taking up by tv and sofa where are kids supposed to play? Compared to Craig and other 4 adults their downstairs is lovely and bright plenty of room.

Can someone explain I thought Kev opened new garage yet all sciences with princess Sophie and her clipboard have been in the old garage? So he's still got himself and two mancanics? They just spread their tools over two sites?

Maria back so boring did anyone miss her??? How has she afforded the rent???

My prediction for Maria is that shes "Fake" married to "Pablo" for some really dull reason.

Thought most had 3 bedrooms? Craig house had 2 couples plus 1-2 kids. Eileen has 3-4adults with Sean downstairs.

They put room in attic for girls so if Luke is diwnstairs they only have one main bedroom upstairs ?

Pablo is gay and Maria married him in Spain so his parents don't know he's gay or something. She was on Loose Women yesterday.

Houses were originally 3-bedrooms, no bathroom, outside lavatory. Most(all) will have converted one bedroom to a bathroom, so only 2 bedrooms. Ty converted loft to playroom, Curly changed loft at Dev's to an observatory. Sean, Amy and Luke sleep in front rooms. Though I can't understand why Luke didn't take over Maria's flat while she was away.

Lol at Nick and Tyrones convo about the tracksuit 'it's velour!'

I thought any had own room? Else where would Simon and his dad stay over?

also enjoyed tracksuit lines not the tv show ones there was no comedy there just filler type.

Don't get why bully moaning about bag being thrown was assault but happy to drag her victim around the playground by her hair.

I liked the comments on Nick's tracksuit too. I was peering at it thinking "Is that a velour lounge suit? " when Tyrone said "Is that velour?"

IME of bullies her and her mum's reactions were typical. They play the victim when called on their bullying behaviour. They are the type that have to "win" so will probably involve the police and get him charged with assault just to get that sense of winning. Regardless of the fact it was them doing the bullying.

I didn't really get why they made such a thing about Nick having to look after Harry, if anything should happen to Sarah. Godparents aren't legal guardians.

I was fascinated with Shane Ward's Miracle Gro hair. Talking to Kirk on the faactory steps his hair is shaved so short he's virtually bald. Next scene when he's inside the factory its grown to a number 3. Am assuming he has a Girls' World style button to grow his hair when desired.

Not really cock-a-hoop to see Maria back. First time Ozzy's been seen since she left.

I do like Erica though Akire, and I like her scenes with Liz and Mary.

Nick is starting to look like the contents of an ancient Egyptian mummy. The sort that come back to life. Which could be handy if he stays in Soap acting.
