Corrie thread - How many more implausible plots until the new person takes over? NO SPOILERS PLEASE

Have started a new thread as the old one was nearly full and people wanted a "No spoilers" message in the title.

Are we placing too much hope in the new producer? How the hell are they going to get out of the plot holes?

I read the other day that the Les Battersby actor was seen at the studios. I am hoping that was a bad-taste April Fool's joke.

Callum caused me to switch off when he was alive, now he's dead and he''s still haunting us. Just give us a break from Callum, it's gone beyond farcial.

I usually really enjoy Simon Gregson scenes, (there's been time when he and Craig Charles were basically carrying the whole thing) but he's not exactly been on form lately has he? Perhaps serious storylines aren't his strong point.

Simon shouldn't be given any scenes where he has to show anger, he just never sounds like he means it. It's the comedy roles he's best at. One of my favourites, there aren't many.

Bethany is 16. Year 11.

Kym Marsh is the worst actress on tv.....bar none. Absolutely brutal.

I liked the scene with hungover Craig and Beth (I love Craig) bit of lighthearted Corrie of old there. Although I was under the impression that brewing beer takes quite some time....

Agreed, Kym Marsh is shocking.

Also, if Robert has Lego hair, then Zedan takes the crown (ha!) of Playmobile hair. I couldn't stop looking at it!

I agree about Kym Marsh. She has had years of just rolling her eyes and folding her arms, in scenes, and has been carried through mostly by Alison King, and Simon Gregson.

Michelle and Steve have never been convincing as a couple, there is zero chemistry. He was so much better with Becky but they ruined that for a rubbish Tracey storyline (where her transplant was forgotten). No wonder Becky buggered orf to Selfridges

They have hardly mentioned her GCSEs; they were referred to briefly weeks ago, but have been completely forgotten since.

Has the new producer arrived yet? If she has, she really needs to have a cull. I'd like to make a few suggestions to her:

2. Chesneys girlfriend (don't know her name) she's right up there with Kym 'eye roll' Marsh.

1. Maria. She serves no purpose whatsoever.
2. Sophie. Truly awful.

Can I add Sean, Fizz, and Tracy to that list.

You certainly can! Tracey, she's another one that needs to go. And Alya (sp) and the rest of her family, they don't add anything at all!

No he hasn't, which is odd.

Sinead's 'acting' in one of last weeks episodes was TERRIBLE. She was wringing her hands and biting her nails in a terrible mimicry of 'embarrassed.'

If someone has said to a year 7 drama class 'show me what you might look like when embarrassed!' they'd have done the same.

It's Sinead's annoying voice that does me!!

She is the most boring character in Corrie and I've started half watching in her scenes.

And with apologies to anyone with a very strong Lancashire accent who's reading this thread, I absolutely cannot stand that bloody voice of hers.

And, with the greatest of respect, she's as much a model as me and I could only model balaclavas.

@ Sineads "embarrassed" acting. I usually tune out during her scenes so didn't notice. That's hilarious.

Sinead was good as Sambuca in Waterloo Road though...

I thought she was Jodie Allen in WR not Sambuca.

She was Jodie not Sambuca but was really good .
