Corrie thread - How many more implausible plots until the new person takes over? NO SPOILERS PLEASE

Have started a new thread as the old one was nearly full and people wanted a "No spoilers" message in the title.

Are we placing too much hope in the new producer? How the hell are they going to get out of the plot holes?

I read the other day that the Les Battersby actor was seen at the studios. I am hoping that was a bad-taste April Fool's joke.

I dont know hoew long it will take before we see the new boss on screen TBH. I know the changes she is making now might not be shown for a couple months because they film in advance dont they?

They just CANNOT run multiple storylines at a time cohesively or coherently. That is what a soap is supposed to do!!

Surely all go to grans? Nik does not need 2 adults one teen and baby or two adults and two kids! They could still be on the street everyday.

What was the guy doing about Boris tiles? Never understood how or why Emily have him house in first place. On her death fair enough but just strange.

The new boss should be made to sit in a dark room and made to watch how Corrie used to be.

I'd forgotten about Emily's house. Didn't we work out way back that it actually belongs to Gail because of the murdery husband's dodgy dealings?

I'm hoping that we will start to see the new boss influencing storylines very soon. The sooner the better.

I think that Emily transferred her house to Norris. She was intending to leave it to him in her Will anyway, but decided to gift it to him so that he could take on the hassle of its upkeep.

Why Norris though, not Spider? It doesn't make sense

I just keep watching this in the mistaken hope it will improve. Thankfully I record it so can flick through the episodes i around 5 minutes. The blackmail scene/roof tiles/Sarah meltdown will compete for worst TV moments.

I just kept looking at Sarah's hair, and I seldom notice such things. It looked like a colour had gone a bit wrong. I know I should be focusing on her tearful scene with Todd .

Why is Steve so keen to get rid of Amy? You'd think he'd be pleased.

That reminds me, why did Amy have to wait for Michelle to collect her from Ken's the other week? It's next door!!!

I felt rather sorry for Bethany at her party with her mother, uncle, grandmother and greatgrandmother all in attendance, especially as Sarah spent the whole time sitting at a table in silence or dashing outside to cry on Todd's shoulder. Also, no mention has been made about the GCSEs she should now be sitting.

I think the Steve / Amy thing was done in order to bring Will (yawn) back in, while Amy is still living at The Rovers. She can conveniently listen in on conversations and so on.

I felt less sorry for Bethany, let's face it, a month ago she was sat alone being bullied and now she has lots of friends with no bullies in sight.

Was Bethany supposed to be staying somewhere else? Was confused she had arrived while mum was in dressing gown.

Why have we heard nothing about Ty and causing accident? Or who's going pay for damage? I'd have loved a one liner after the accident about the dress!! They miss wedding and meal to get it and she dosnt get to show it off.

Right, this is going to sound ridiculous but when Amy announced she was moving to Steve's permanently I actually had a little cry!

This is because of what Tracey did years ago, when she tormented Roy and Hayley by telling them Amy was Roy's child and forcing them to pay to keep her, let them get attached to her only to admit the baby was Steve's and break their hearts. She made their lives totally hell and put such a strain on their beautiful marriage - which has always been my favourite soap marriage - and I used to think that some day this child would know this bitch for what she really is. Over and over again, year after year, she's shown what a lazy feckless mother she is. Occasionally she's acted like a caring parent which made me hope that if Amy ever did see through her it would hurt like hell.

Something that has just occurred to me was that Michelle keeps saying Will was her "first love". But I thought her "first love" was Ryan's dad who died tragically??
