Corrie thread - How many more implausible plots until the new person takes over? NO SPOILERS PLEASE

Have started a new thread as the old one was nearly full and people wanted a "No spoilers" message in the title.

Are we placing too much hope in the new producer? How the hell are they going to get out of the plot holes?

I read the other day that the Les Battersby actor was seen at the studios. I am hoping that was a bad-taste April Fool's joke.

The whole thing was weird IIRC. She went to work for Carla, then the attempted rape happened but no one believed her. She left and Michelle got the job, all in the space of what seemed like a couple of weeks. It was really badly thought out and rushed, clearly a plot device for Carla's rape.

Corrie is on Thursday night this week at 8.30, an extra episode, as far as I can see.

It's on Sunday 22nd at 9 pm, and Mon to Thursday at 9 pm all of that week.
No episode on Friday 27th.

Carla and Nick makes the most rubbish couple. Absolutely zero chemistry between them.

He had a son about 6 or so years ago with a barmaid called Violet. She then skedaddled with Bradley Walsh's son's character!

He had him with violet in about 2006/07 if I remember correctly.

Just to drag the whole ridiculous saga further. It annoyed me, I thought, tell him, for goodness sake, and let's have no more nonsense.

What day of the week was it supposed to be? Would Tim have planned to take Sally away during the week not at a weekend? Everyone was in the factory but no mention of taking Jack out of school for the jaunt.

Day of the week, time of day........both irrelevant in Corrieland.

I was about to say the same thing. The godawful hen party last week seemed to take place in a night club, in broad daylight, for example.

Monday's 8.30 ep was so exciting that I fell asleep

It was better use of your time Symphony tbh, at least you got a snooze.
I only watched bits. There were so many holes in it, apart from silly storylines.

I also didn't bother with the second episode on Monday and unsure whether or not to rest of his week's episodes. It's annoying me that Sally is overused at the moment and that Tyrone was oddly put out that Kev invited Tim to Blackpool instead of him. Forgiving Kevin is one thing but Tyrone's reaction in the first episode on Monday was ridiculous. Perhaps the writers have forgotten about 'Molvin' like they forgot about Jevin having a son that died.

Did I dream it or does Sally wear business suits to stitch knickers?

The factory seems to be a very easygoing work environment if Monday's episodes were anything to go by. Gossip, gossip, gossip while aimlessly holding a piece of material/ knickers in hands and waving at machine. Sally took off out the door without a care about work/ wages being docked or whatever. Wouldn't have happened in Mike's day.

I didn't bother watching tonight.

Oh the Izzy stuff was awful. The policeman! Did they just get one of the crew to step in?

I've just discovered this thread and it's making me laugh. I thought it was just me that watched to hate on the characters.

Yes Sally's dress code for the factory is beyond stupid. Didn't they used to wear tabards. She would get covered with lint etc and wouldn't jacket restrict movement.

Any clue on what's happening with Billy and his "parishioner"
