Corrie thread - How many more implausible plots until the new person takes over? NO SPOILERS PLEASE

Have started a new thread as the old one was nearly full and people wanted a "No spoilers" message in the title.

Are we placing too much hope in the new producer? How the hell are they going to get out of the plot holes?

I read the other day that the Les Battersby actor was seen at the studios. I am hoping that was a bad-taste April Fool's joke.

It was a few years ago but now i'm questioning if it was while he was with michelle or not. I remember eileen teasing him about it.

Didn't Steve cheat on Michelle with Becky, then married Becky, then when he cheated on Becky with Tracy, Tracy claimed to be pregnant with twins, had a real miscarriage but didn't tell him, then faked a miscarriage to blame Becky.

Then by the time the truth came out and Steve wanted Becky back she had met the man from the hotel and moved abroad, so Michelle decided to get back with Steve again. Because who wouldn't want the man who treated you that badly and had all that drama in his life?

Ive never understood steve and michelle being together. Theyre not suited at all.

It was a mistake to kill Tony off. I thought he played a good character, another one who was a bit rough when he had to be but he cared about Jason .

What will happen to tony s share of Tracey's business?

Liz did a bit of cheating in her own day too. I seem to remember in one case, it was with a friend of Jim's.

Well I watched last night and not sure I'm quite ready to give it another go, when Jason blamed Liz for Tony dying I shouted out "ah for feck sake cop on Jason" he was sleeping with Tracey and stealing from Liz and Steve at the same time, he wasn't exactly a saint.

I know ellen. They ruined what was an actual believable episode and some good acting from the Grimshaw clan by sticking that ludicrous ending on.

Agreed ellenanora. Complete nonsense ending. Why on earth did they kill Tony off anyway! I would have loved to see him taking on Phelan.

Tony was an interesting character played well by an actor who knew how to bring out his dimensions. I agree it was bloody stupid to kill him off.

Ooh a tony V phelan face off would have been brilliant. The really missed a trick with that one. Was there a RL reason they had to write tony out quickly and permanently? it was very sudden and appears to serve no plot purpose.

Ahem, I said as soon as Liz started giving Michelle grief about Will weeks ago that she had a bloody nerve considering how shittily Steve has treated her (M) over the years .

I also think Eva has new front teeth. I always notice teeth for some reason. Sophie had hers done some time back and I couldn't stop looking at them either.

Tony was a great character and he and Liz made a good couple I thought. Better than Liz and Mr Suave Grandad Not Dad anyway.

I seriously can't wait for Phelan to get his comeuppance.
Steve's lips look oddly white and it's freaking me out a bit. Looks like they're going to set him and Tim up as the comedy banter pair to replace Lloyd.

I'm going to be glued to the screen tonight to see Eileen's teeth. I'm useless at noticing stuff like that.

Silly question alert!
When people have their teeth done like Eileen are they just having them whitened and they look a bit odd as so clean or are they having false teeth implanted so they are all straight and they look odd as all the teeth are perfectly straight?

Ive always wondered this esp with people like Rylan etc and wonder why have so many teeth if having false ones ?

It's probably whitening and veneers/crowns. I have them and they don't look fake as they are matched to my teeth colour and original teeth shape but when celebs get them done they often get perfect ones which then look fake!

I think in eileen's case it is veneers over the top of her real teeth so thats why they seem so incomfortable in her mouth.

Steve and Tim will make a brilliant banter bromance. I love Tim. Great character.

I am assuming Phelan will take full advantage of Jason's grief and swindle him out of his own business while he is drinking away his sorrows.

I was fascinated tonight by ... Eileen's teeth! Her teeth looked fine before, I thought. Now I keep thinking of the Friends episode where Ross whitened his teeth.
