Emmerdale- are we in the least bit bovvered what happens in The Dales right now?

the last thread got to 1000 (took 2 and a half YEARS Grin )

So:
Paddy and Rhona off to Germany with Marlons blessing.
Why did Rhona say "Pretend you fell off a horse" to explain his bruise. He's a Vet. He could've been kicked by any sort of animal, he's the most unlikely equestrian ever.

Eric- something going on with him. Not just a touch of dodgy tummy, I reckon he'll have something serious and bowel related (a slow burn storyline )

Holly- can't stick her, whiney irritating little twerp.

Charity, you are not the hottest thing to walk the Dales. Go Away.

Laying in a coma is probably the best bit of acting we can expect from her. She is simply the worst actress I have ever seen on any programme. Ever. I missed a couple of episodes, why did she OD?

Eastie, she od because she tried it on with Cain and he told her to leave the village, she then told Moira that Cain had come on to her, Moira didn't believe her and told her to pack up and get out.
She rang Moira when she had the drugs but she wouldn't answer the phone, she left a message saying what she was doing but Cain deleted it before he listened to all of it.

It's not one bit wrong to hope she doesn't survive, worst actor ever

Rachel the pirate ship bugs the crap out of me, flat pack my arse.

And for the love of all that is holy will someone please put Pete out of his misery, he is all doom and gloom.

I was delighted for them JaneJeffer, even though I give out it really is way better than corrie, I don't watch the others so not sure how good they are, but it was high time Emmerdale got the recognition, and Danny Miller is a fantastic actor so was thrilled for him to win best actor.

Moira's other daughter is called Hannah.

Holly is an appalling actress. I don't get why they brought her back. And her accent is plain weird. If her mother is Scottish and she lived at home growing up, surely she's sound a bit like moira - or her brothers and sisters at least.

But I love the pirate ship. I reckon it's bigger than my house Grin

How did Lachlan manage to spy on Belle? I just saw him looking at the laptop screen at the end.
That affair really creeps me out, the doctor and Belle.
I feel sorry for him if / when Cain finds out. Grin

He was hiding behind a tree! I know Lucky is a creep but Thomas Atkinson is such a good actor I love watching him. The doctor actually creeps me out way more.

The doctor is horrible - not in the least bit attractive. I really want to look away when he and Belle are in a clinch/snog.

Hopefully after Lachlan spilling the beans to Cain tonight, the doctor is in for the hiding he deserves.

That particular storyline gives me the creeps. I don't know f it is because she looks so young, and knowing how troubled she has been in the past.
Also his behaviour is just weird, creeping back to her at the pigsty and so on.

Agree the story is creepy. I don't feel at all sorry for the Dr when he's the one doing the dirty with his teenage patient behind his wife's back, and he knows about her mental health history.

For a moment last night I thought Belle would sleep with Lachlan but I was glad that didn't happen.

Noah is Liv's bully! I think they had to find a storyline for this little boy. I agree about the dr, hopefully Cain gives him a good kicking (I'm non violent in real life but this is a soap!!)

I also think the doctor seems fake, as though the actor is not convinced by the storyline. I feel the same about the Zak storyline. I just imagine Steve Halliwell cringing when he was told that Zak was going to leave Lisa for another woman.

Did Lachlan actually tell Cain, in order to protect Belle, after he had seen the doctor with his wife? It did seem that way. Unusual for Lachlan!

Lachlan is going to lose his only friend if Belle figures out he told Cain. I loved the "you talking to me?" scene.

I normally can't stand Lachlan, but to fair he is a good actor and I think he was worried about Belle, at least I'm hoping he was, don't think he could stoop as low as he did with Alicia, I've never liked that storyline with the Doctor and Belle, it's just awful.

I'm glad Nessa hasn't let Rhona talk her around about the horrible Pierce, and Marlon needs to put his foot down and say no to April every now and again, he should have refused to have them to tea.

I don't like Noah but I do feel sorry for him, he is moved from one house to another so much he probably hasn't a clue where he's going to end up next and is constantly worried about it, his mother is worse than useless.

Smidge001, thanks for the reminder about Hannah, couldn't think off it all.

I agree ellenanora, he is a very good actor. The scene with Cain was quite funny.
I just can't believe Rhona would still want to be with Pierce, knowing the way that he has behaved. He seems to have forgotten his wife's death quite quickly!
That's true about Noah. The most stability he had was while living with Moira and Cain. Nobody really seems to care about him. I pity Moses also, the parents he has. And his granny Emma...
I thought the story of Liv offering fifty grand to that guy was a bit daft. Would a girl of her age think of such a thing, I don't know.
