Emmerdale- are we in the least bit bovvered what happens in The Dales right now?

So:
Paddy and Rhona off to Germany with Marlons blessing.
Why did Rhona say "Pretend you fell off a horse" to explain his bruise. He's a Vet. He could've been kicked by any sort of animal, he's the most unlikely equestrian ever.

Eric- something going on with him. Not just a touch of dodgy tummy, I reckon he'll have something serious and bowel related (a slow burn storyline )

Holly- can't stick her, whiney irritating little twerp.

Everyone has gone a bit mad on Emmerdale this week Confused and some of the writing seems a bit off to me.

I was hoping Cain was sitting upstairs listening to the doctor or Belle would be recording him, but no such luck, this will drag on and on until Lachlan gets real proof that can't be fobbed off by the creepy doctor.

Why was the wife/girlfriend scene acted out in the factory office, that was bit weird.

As for Chas going out with the policeman, eh ok then, that won't end in disaster, nope not at all.....

Scarcely seems believable that someone like Cain, who is usually quick to see through anyone's bullshit, would believe the doctor's ludicrous stalker story. Poor Belle, the only person who can ever corroborate her story is mad, blackmailing Emma!

If Chas is pregnant with Gordon's baby wouldn't she'd be about 6 months gone by now?!

I'm not a fan of Emma but Dr Bailey was out order yesterday. He has no redeeming features at all as far as I can see.

As he said to her the other day, Emma has no proof about him and Belle, sadly.

So am I right in thinking it was Emma who trashed the pub to a) get rid of Chastity for a while and b) to make herself look good in being caring towards her?

Just when she is forgiven (yet again), it appears she has done something nasty (yet again)

How long is this bloody tedious storyline going to last for as I for one am totally sick of it.
