Need I found the incestuous element to the brother and sister from the work house very disturbing.

I did find it disturbing when it was portrayed in the program. It was incest to me and I couldn't understand it.

In the book however, the back story to it was so detailed and moving that you could completely understand and even forgive that they were brother and sister.

They amount of effort and work that poor boy had to do to release his sister who suffered terrible abuse, it's no wonder they never felt safe enough to open themselves to anyone else

Yes a quick google did say eventually it was incest. Not good at first glance but the whole story itself is actually very heart tugging

I don't think th Beeb will want to lose Helen George. Trixie is such a big part of the show and I doubt they would want to mess with a successful format too much.
