I thought Anne would go, none of the rooms were particularly wonderful, Frankie's was beautifully finished but odd! IMO LIght boxes don't go in traditional cottages.

Ooooh Slummy, can't wait!!!!

I thought Sarah's was head and shoulders above the others & although she was bossy on the challenge, I think pushing her vision through was the right tactic. Words failed me with Anne & Frankie's; what is her obsession with grass?!

Frankie's understanding of "New England" was somewhat awry; the obvious symmetry/corbels/glass was all wrong and too grandiose for the setting and brief.

I didn't like Lucy's treatment of those IKEA chairs and not mad on the hand-painted wall.

Anne's, it was all said; safari animals/butterflies/cherubs. The arm caps to cover ragged sofa arms were a good idea if they hadn't had animals on. I have no idea why someone who professes to love textiles would choose a cheap-looking synthetic green fabric for the background of the cushions (grass aside); the dog bed was better quality fabric.

On today's showings, I predict a Sarah/Frankie final but none of the final 3 have been totally consistent.

I can't wait for Slummy's either.

I think it was Sarah in the orange room. Glad to see Anne go, she didn't really understand what contemporary or modern meant, did she? And wtf with the safari animals, butterflies and cherubs theme? Surely she should have just gone for one if any? I was tickled by the task where Sarah and Lucy had to work together, Lucy was utterly fuming wasnt she? I wonder if she was glad she went with Sarah's idea in the end as they won the task.

Mrsjamin that odd cherub theme was stipulated by the owners , honest! They loved it! Yes that task was weird, and I have never seen an umbrella stand looking like that IMO Frankie just sort of let Anne carry on regardless. He's sweet.

Anne was the right choice to go.

Saw a glimpse of the orange and went "bingo!" Can't wait to hear all the goss from Slummy. Who's lovely and who's a pain?

Fake wood or brick wallpaper is a pet hate of mine. Why do they all keep using it? It's so tacky

OH God mine too, it's vile, bad enough real bricks but FAKE ones as you say WHY? I hated them years ago and I still hate them.

I like exposed brick. When it's actual exposed brick- but it has to be the pretty vintage one, not your bog-standard red brick though.
