New series starts tomorrow, 7pm on BBC2. Anyone else in?

I thought the same when they showed her own house last night, MrsJamin.

GrouchyKiwi · 23/02/2016 19:23

I thought it was hypocritical of Sophie to criticise Talie for being gimmicky when she was just about to hand the contestant a pile of bricks to use.

GetSchwifty · 23/02/2016 19:25

I hate the task they make them do, it's so pointless. Why do they keep wanting to make it more gameshow like, just leave them be and let them get them on with their designs!

Found this up cycle for bricks on Pinterest

Anne's homeowner lady looks so incredibly sceptical about it all.

cosmicglittergirl · 23/02/2016 19:30

I wouldn't have a clue what to do with the bricks. Book end maybe?

MrsJamin · 23/02/2016 19:30

Craig doesn't have a clue, those colours were horrid together.

CremeEggThief · 23/02/2016 19:32

What a waste of time, dying that lovely Chesterfield. I think I might be a few minutes behind.

CremeEggThief · 23/02/2016 19:32

*dyeing

GrouchyKiwi · 23/02/2016 19:34

I am distinctly uninspired by these designers tonight.

SwedishEdith · 23/02/2016 19:35

Our house was covered in paper like Craig's. Only just finished stripping it all off after 9 years. I'd be horrified if he just put it all back on.

cosmicglittergirl · 23/02/2016 19:35

They're a weak set. Bring back Frankie!

MrsJamin · 23/02/2016 19:38

I'm behind too! Only just got to the bricks being given out. Bit of a harsh material to try to shoehorn in.

FelicityLemon · 23/02/2016 19:41

They are all distinctly underwhelming today, not a patch on previous weeks.

Annarose2014 · 23/02/2016 19:41

Thank god I'm not the only person watching this every night!

This week's lot aren't great though are they?

At least Tree Lady is gone. She were shiiiiite.

TheSpottedZebra · 23/02/2016 19:41

They are so weak. But at least Tally seems to have listened to the brief.

My friend lived in Bournville - it was really pretty, but so so Stepford. And there were signs everywhere to tell you to keep off the grass, not play ball games, etc etc.

SwedishEdith · 23/02/2016 19:41

Have the bloke and the blonde woman pretty much done the same thing with the same-ish paper? I'm only half-concentrating.

GrouchyKiwi · 23/02/2016 19:42

My 4 year old is "being a designer" and drawing inside an empty tissue box. She's definitely more creative than these guys I wouldn't let her redecorate my house though.

CremeEggThief · 23/02/2016 19:43

I have to say they have been weak in general all series so far. IMO, Frankie is the best of them.

cosmicglittergirl · 23/02/2016 19:44

Talli's room is well early 00s. Everything I hate in a room. She's done it well though.

GrouchyKiwi · 23/02/2016 19:45

I have to say, Talie's looks nice but there's nothing clever. I want a colour like the champagne for our bedroom so will have to look that up.

Annarose2014 · 23/02/2016 19:45

All Tally does is slap paint about!

SwedishEdith · 23/02/2016 19:46

It looks like a pub.

Pipbin · 23/02/2016 19:47

Not to my taste but I quite like Tally's room.
But there isn't anywhere in the room where you can see the tv.

I think the blokes who do the painting etc must laugh at them though. What with gluing bricks together. Hmm

SwedishEdith · 23/02/2016 19:48

And the owner looks like Kat Slater.
