Nice to see some 'All about Eve'. Remember when they were caught out miming 'Martha's Harbour' on Top of the Pops? That was awkward.

I have just read Steve McCrorie's album (last year's winner for all of us who have forgotten him already) got to number 35 in the chart. Apparently it is not a bad album, and was critically well received. We will have forgotten about him again soon.

Bill.je.suis was right when he said that the Beeb don't support the winning acts, though. They don't appear to promote them at all. Do they do a tour? I know in the first year it was scrapped when hardly anyone bought tickets.
