And this week promises a drag act, an ex- X Factor auditionee (who we won't remember), and a bloke who sang with the Beatles. Probably once, in the Cavern. From the audience.

I'm not sure anything will beat Bernie Clifton.

But the big question is, will I ever warm to Paloma? And does Bill.je.suis have the foggiest who BG is?

I miss S'Tom.

I need nibbles.

See y'all later.

Looking forward to more, forced quirkiness, over sentimental warbling and crystal rubbing next week!

Raahh · 16/01/2016 21:06

Moln- they have pretty much all been rubbish, sorry. Grin

Ugh. This passes the time but are they actually going to find someone who will see some success? I loved and but they haven't amounted to anything yet. Leah has been recording for what seems like years and poor Christina is working a 9-to-5 job like The Voice never happened. Hmm

hazeyjane · 16/01/2016 21:11

I never watch past the turny bit anyway - it lacks any entertainment value after that bit!

Raahh · 16/01/2016 21:14

hazey to be honest, the whole point of it (that it's about voice, not image) make no sense past the spinny chairs. But I do like the battle rounds, and the tumbleweed when no one 'steals'. because I am horrible .Grin

unless the battle rounds involve them whacking seven bells out of each other with big pugil sticks, then I'm not bothering (I'd like to see headband girl get in a pugil battle with rick/boris boy)

Raahh · 16/01/2016 21:20

hazey -sadly, no. They just shout over each other. In a boxing ring.

Yes, it's a shit as it sounds. Grin

I know that they need to choose some singers to throw under the bus in the battle rounds, but did they all need to be in this episode?

Raahh · 16/01/2016 21:24

If they are throwing them under an actual bus that might liven it up a bit

Raahh · 16/01/2016 21:37

nancy- that would be great. Possibly not legal, or morally right. But might increase the ratings.

I've just read Ricky is leaving after this one. He isn't following it to ITV.

squoosh · 16/01/2016 22:48

I bet he wasn't invited!

Cocolepew · 16/01/2016 23:18

Maybe he's been away from his barrow on the market for too long and doesn't want to lose his pitch.

SouthWestmom · 16/01/2016 23:32

Waltzer Danny is probably lonely.

Samcro · 16/01/2016 23:34

ricky is beyond annoying
the rest are ok

The80sweregreat · 17/01/2016 20:28

Hi, watching on bbc three! Not the same as live with you lovely ladies though. BG's ' i slept with Prince ' was a bit outrageous! ( wonder if its true though?) were the radiators safe?
The Beatle man, i thought he was going to start telling jokes..
What did he say to Will? Missed that
Didnt like the red dress woman. Too over confident
Its not the same on a sunday, this dry january is dragging too.. : (
