Piggy is more appropriate MissBattleaxe I can't bear her (or Dame Babs) but a silent Piggy is better than her usual screeching! The little musical montage I presume was the emphasise the great loss of a "much loved character" I am assuming it is her all the pre Christmas stuff was about not Charlie or Fatboy.
I agree Gavin has swapped his EA to Sharon from Kathy she's a very vulnerable character and has always been controlled by the men in her life.
The whole Louise thing is nonsense. You can't get in to our school unless you climbed the fence!

Peggy was always an awful character. Babs should have stuck to comedy. She doesn't really have the chops to tackle drama. The only storyline I think I enjoyed with the character was when she found out about Pat and Frank. There was the classic smackdown with Pat Butcher. It worked because it was so camp and ridiculous.

Ben should really come out soon. At least he has a gay icon as a grandma!

Noooo, max likes em young! Max is about Ian's age and kaff is Ian's mum. Imagine how pissed off Ian would be if max slept with his daughter then got out of prison and slept with his mum!!

That would be funny max sleeping with Ian's daughter lucy - Kathy his mum - and sure max had a fling with jane didn't he?

What I did find funny was when phil woke up in the dustbin Sacks his lid on the whiskey bottle was screwed on

Sure if he passed out the lid would be off - plus prob died from The cold if slept there all night

Didn't understand the no speaking Peggy

Louise looks pretty - forgotten about her as want grants and michelle mark to come in to ee

I've been thinking there's two reasons they would kill peggy off

  1. The writers have realised the cameos are annoying
  2. barbara windsor isn't well.

I love the idea of Ronnie as the new head of the Mitchell's, although I can't see them killing Phil off. They mentioned Grant a lot which normally precedes an appearance. That would be great, but I'm guessing we would know about it if that's the case.

Kathy was definitely a surprise reveal in the live show. It would make sense for Grant to come back if Peggy's dying, and maybe talk some sense into Phil.

From what I've read, Barbara Windsor just wants to step away from the Peggy character for good so no personal illness and I suspect that if there was an illness she'd not have been shy of publicising it.

Me and Dd binged watched this weeks yesterday Martin is a Moron your girlfriend is ill get her to a frigging Dr Angry pissed phil jumped into a car but slept by the bins then managed to find Lou via a dying peggy and not once been stopped by the police. Carmels booty call to masood was so cringey I fancy the arse off Mas though

Phil wont die Liver problems in enders manage to cure themselves fine Lauren Branning was on deaths door and recovered in 2 episodes. I like when the pop characters in and we dont know they are coming back.

Kathy coming back was all over the press and the EE website for ages before the live week. I think it was talked about here (several hundred threads ago)

I tend to avoid spoilers but even I was sure I knew about it before she appeared.

I am prepared to accept that I could easily be thinking about the time between the live episode and when she really came back though.

I think we knew Kathy was coming back

But not Peggy

Phil was told to stop drinking or he wouldn't see another Xmas

So he will probably go into rehab now

The still weird he was drinking after being kidnapped by shazza dad - did he ply Phil with booze?
