Looks like I tempted fate mentioning Gavin earlier? Is he a wanted man? He gets about easily enough. And I presume he's over his Kathy obsession now?!
Far too many mentions of Grant though! Can only assume they're bringing him back.

Sharon's hair looks nice pulled back into that bun. And they're finally dressing her somewhat better.

And I'm distracted by the decor in Phil's house. With all the thieving, murdering, illnesses, affairs etc how do they have time to keep it looking so nice?

Stacey definitely deserves and Oscar for her portrayal of Bi- Polar.

That whole scene with Peggy and Phil looked like it had been filmed in separate studios using body doubles, are the actors not talking to each other at the moment? Or did Dame Peggy insist on filming from the Palace? Anyway, the one up man ship, "I'm dying!" "No I'm dying!" Never mind Louise neither of them is allowed to die before Mark Mitchell comes back!!!

I thought the scene with Peggy and Phil was quite good!

It really looked like it was filmed separately and once you noticed that it was difficult to concentrate.

EE just made an announcement on Facebook. It's contains a spoiler so didn't want to say it outright (even though it's a direct announcement from them so will be everywhere). It's there if you want to click though!

I like how the executive producer of EE sometimes throws a curveball with no spoilers. It's a nice change these days to have a complete surprise on a soap.

It is, and they're quite good at keeping things secret on EE when they want to.

It's all gearing up for another big Mitchell story isn't it? Not that they are rarely out of it.

I agree that Phil and Peggy did not appear to be in the same room together until she threw the bag at him. There were also moments in the Phil and Louise scene when they did not appear to be together until she rushed to him when he collapsed.

On the subject of Gavin having got over Kathy, do you think it's because he has moved onto controlling Sharon? He has changed his tune from not wanting to know to wanting to help her, giving gifts to Denny and then persuading her not to cut him off, even though that's what she said she was going to do. She's been manipulated, going from cutting him off to thinking about running to a villa with him.

I have to say I am so over Piggy Mitchell.. I think Barbara's cameo during the live episode didn't work. Do you remember when she turned up, in a taxi, went into the Vic for a scene with Mick, then went back in a taxi? It was so shoe horned in it just didn't come off.

Peggy doesn't work as a character in EE any more, her era is done. I disagreew ith what the Exec Producer said in that linked article,. He said Peggy was the greatest matriarch in any soap but I disagree. I reckon they made a big mistake getting rid of Pam St Clement.

I have a problem with that cash. Phil said he and grant set it aside for a rainy day. It can't have been kept locked away all that time as notes get withdrawn from circulation. You'd have to keep exchanging them so they remain current.

Yes and Mark Fowler was in love with her but she loved Pink Faced Badass Phil Mitchell.

Oh yes you're right Blue. Carol was the best actress on any soap. She had a naturalistic way of acting that made everyone else look stagey. She was brilliant.

I'd like to see Lyndsey Coulson in other stuff actually. I'd watch anything she was in.
