Oh yes giant baby pearl! Makes me laugh she lives up all those steps with pram but uses them. Yet when Donna babysits that's seemingly perfectly flat acessable rear path!

Can you have a live partial liver trasplant for cirrhosis? If so, that would get faaaamly back for Phil so they could be a donor.

I love the Masoods. They are the best family in the show. I really like Shabnam too, even though she can be snippy at the best of times.

b) it would be a faaaaamly donation rather than anonymous donation on the transplant list.

They usually carefully monitor women with bipolar after they've given birth.

They also carefully check into people's history and lifestyle before placing a child with them (Shirley and Buster).

There's probably loads more. Though I reckon Phil will recover from alcoholism (again) as quickly as he recovered from the crack and will get his transplant from someone in the fahhhhhmily.

The NHS service in Eastenders is half crap, half amazing. On the good side, everyone gets a private room in hospital, GPs carefully talk through your options with regards to medication, and the doctors often make house calls. On the bad side, women don't get HV visits and can run around with unmedicated bipolar.

I thought that Buster and Shirley would have been turned down. I mean, when I looked at fostering the requirements were just insane. Surely they'd be a little sniffy about Buster having been in jail, even if he is faaaaamily.
