I can't believe Carmel was starting to decorate the nursery. At least she was doing paint samples on paper.

I hope Buster stays too, hopefully it'll just be a bonding storyline for Mick and his parents where he saves their relationship.

When Mick told Buster and Shirley he was going to leave them to have a roll around I nearly threw up my pancakes. Who says that to their parents?!

Agree abi thing v v werid! I mean she could have asked Abi for help sometimes a push but who offers help to someone in a pub carrying dishes while in a neck brace!

Fair enough if babe was struggling big pile of plates going to drop them but can't carry 3 paper plates!!!!

Still don't understand why Buster was going to leave. Ok if he and Shirley had a row and everything but he obviously carers for her. Just felt like filler episode.

Shirley was a bit of a bitch to him the other day immediately after Jade left and then he decides to up sticks. Definitely seemed bit dramatic. And yes stomach turning look Shirely gave after Mick said about them rollng around.

I thought Babe caught onto Ben and Paul texting and the atmosphere between them. But yes it was random Abi helping her out. And i must have missed about why Abi even has a neck brace. What happened to her.

Then Nancy being a job in that vile woman's pub. wtf are they making Nancy go from Muslim convert to working in a trashy pub.

I don't like that Jordan storyline.

What a strange, bewildering badly written episode. I watched it on catch up quite late last night and began to wonder if I'd had too much wine. Then I read the MN comments... and realised that yes, it really was that crap.

People do sober up remarkably quickly on EE. And babies are so easy to look after. And everyone gets offered a job all the time, everywhere. Actual acting skills optional.

I thought last night was shit as well, really disjointed and pointless.

Poor Kush, do feel sorry for him as he hasn't really done anything wrong and he has lost his wife (for the second time) and his son and is watching someone else be a dad to the son he does have, although that will no doubt come out at some point soon. I'm not sure if Stacey will be able to keep it up tbh. Poor Martin.

Abi is fucking annoying and going to get worse. Why on earth is Aunt Babe now interfering!! You can always tell, she gets that horrible snide look on her face when she is about to shit stir. I really really cannot stand her!

Even DH commented that last night's episode was a bit "clunky" It didn't seem to fit and the whole episode was at night so it was quite gloomy to watch.

They seem to do these bridging episodes when they're moving between major storylines. They do the big stuff well but don't move that smoothly onto the next thing.
