Commuting doesn't exist in Walford! You'd think with the convenient tube link there'd be loads of city workers, but no. I seem to recall Bradley was a trainee stockbroker or similar that involved commuting, then gave it up to be a market inspector.

I found the 'I will divorce you' scene very sad, but then I cried when Massoud said it to Zeinab as well. On the other hand, I don't think Kush and Shabnam are really suited and actually think Kush and Stacey make a better couple. I think Kush's (overbearing) mum was thinking the same when Shabs wouldn't let Kush have any fun during ramadan. Shabs is too serious for Kush.

She is way to serious for Kush. I know she has got more devout but she has had a complete personality transplant from the old Shabnam, it's just not realistic.

I agree that Jade is going to be hard work. Poor kid has had a shitty upbringing so far. I'm guessing that in 10 years time the character will come back as a generic Eastenders mouthy teenage girl. Other than maybe Zoe and Abi, have they ever had a teenage girl who's not a puffa jacket wearing loudmouth?

Dad is called Masood (although that is their sirname isn't it so guessing his first name is probably something else). Brother has recently come from Pakistan where Masood brought him back telling Zainab he was taking him and she seems to have just been ok with it Confused.

I really want them to bring Zainab back. She was on Loose Women the other day saying that she wouldn't say no if she was asked to return but that she missed comedy Zainab and felt it was difficult to go back to that after the storylines she'd had.

Dad is masood Ahmed, they are first name Masood (eg tamwar masood)
I'm not sure if it is a Pakistani tradition or a Muslim tradition but I think the family take the dads first name as their surname

Dot calls his Mr Masmood with the extra 'm'. I'm Welsh and have a patronymic as well - a version of my dad's first name as my last name.

I've just caught up with this weeks eastenders but have pretty much missed a whole thread again!!

I cried on Friday at Kush crying. He can't get anything right in Shabnams eyes. I'm quite sad to see her go though. Feel like they could have done a bit more with her. Hopefully she will be back. Agree it was all very rushed and all very unrealistic. She did say that she had a flat that Kush had found though.

Can't really be bothered with the Stacey/Martin/Kush storyline that will inevitably happen now.

Nancy is a pain in the ass - what did tam really do that was so wrong??!! She likes a bad boy at heart - someone to fight for her. She creates drama. (Mrsjay someone else who is over invested over here!!) think they will get back together though. I bet he proposes to show that he really means business, just after he quits his job - no idea how they will buy the fish fingers though if neither of them are working!!

Billy and honey annoy me. Billy is so pathetic it drives me mad.

Maybe Tamwar will propose. With a ring hidden in a fish finger sandwich. "Will you be my wife and enjoy months of drama in the build up, then have a wedding where everything goes wrong but eventually it works out for the best and is heartwarming?"

Actually, it's Valentine's next week so wonder if there will be a themed episode? They usually do some groanworthy secret admirer plot.
