so if Nancy does leave the Vic and work for drunk ladylady, that leaves space for Abi to work behind bar of Vic. Maybe even replace Witney in Dean's affections? Could tie in with the showdown with Ben and curley haired funeral parlour grandson (whose name escapes me). So Abi ends up with Lee because they';re both on the rebound, because Wit will have dumped Lee?

They must be bringing in drunk landlady as a more permanent character because she's connected to Jay's new love interest. So Nancy could well take the job!

I think the programme makers need to catch on that no-one gives a shit about what happens to Abi.

Yes EE get rid of Abi she is pointless. A clip of her walking up the stairs to the tube station never to be seen again will suffice (grin]

There seems to be a lot of big storylines on ice at the moment, or being dragged out more like, whilst the writers are trying to fill the void with odd random stories.

And Jordan really didn't need to be brought back.

And oh god Sonia. Earnest, plodding Sonia, who can turn a gay love affair and seemingly unlimited medical skills into an offering of an emotional puddle of concrete... Oh just fuck off to The Jump.

I think they are missing a trick with building up the Les/Christine story and then doing nothing with it. Meanwhile yet another Gang storyline with a character nobody cares about yet (Jordan).

Meanwhile Kim distracts us with a Lego minidress and a Must Have Banana Leather Jacket.

Oh and Buster said he was leaving but didn't, and Shirley broke wind. Sorry, Shirley cracked a smile.

I feel very uncomfortable with the whole Denise/Jordan thing. Denise insisting on being there for him when he is violent to her and she is rightly afraid of him. Denise wailing "I'm all he's got!" - what about his actual aunty then? We are heading towards a "love of a good woman converts violent man" - sigh!

Agree Abby is a waste of time. And Liney I couldn't agree more about Sonia. Nobody else could suddenly become gay overnight and it be so boring.

I think the Denise/Jordan thing is about her having nobody to look after, or who cares about her, so she is searching for some life purpose. But I don't like it as a storyline either.

would someone pls tell me how Jordan fits in - is he Denise's nephew and if so who are his parents? I must have missed all that.

Jordans Dad is Lucas - who was married to Denise and is Chelsea's father.

A few years back he went a bit crazy and nearly killed Denise, he killed Jordan's Mum (kind of by accident - in the allotment shed - with a rake gruesome), held Denise prisoner etc.

so step-son I guess

he came back into Denises life when her kids were grown and they reconnected (remarried? not sure)- he had Jordan with him then.

Denise was married to Jordan's dad Lucas (amongst others). So Jordan is her ex step son.

Lucas killed Jordan's mum.

One of Denise's other exes tried to kill their daughter Libby.

It's just like real life really, when you think about it.
