Nancy is awesome! How can you not like her?
Did the actress that plays Shabnam decide to leave quite suddenly? It all felt a bit forced and weird.

It was a surprise that shabnam actually left. There were no spoilers and she's a fairly important character. Bloody good actress too

I agree, shab's departure did seem a little sudden and unannounced. There were still a good few storylines they could have used - Kush winning her back, jade's cerebral palsy, Shab/kush getting custody of Arthur, revelations that she actually raped by Dean (rather than consensual), etc

I think Shabs ending was a bit forced and rushed. No way could she have taken Jade in a day. They just wanted to engineer a happy ending for Shabs and end the Jade storyline, especially with Dean in prison, but Jade will turn up at Shirlys when she's a teenager. Feel sorry for Kush, he seems like an ordinary bloke whose life has gone crazy since he moved to the Square and doesn't realise it's because he's in a soap.

They just piled so much awful stuff on her that it's a relief she's gone so that nothing else can happen. She'll probably come back with another new head at some point.

I haven't seen last nights but I went right off Kush when he was revealed to be Arthur's dad. He may have been single when he slept with Stacey but he knew she was Shabnam's friend (supposedly as she is a massive cow bag to her at least once a week). That was cruel. He also knew Martin had feelings for Stacey. Also, can he not use contraception? Not such a nice guy. Although we keep being told he is a good guy. I couldn't forgive him for convincing me not to go to court to get Jade, all the while knowing he was having a son with Stacey, if I was Shabs.
Waiting for the brothers who were recently mentioned to turn up despite the fact they didn't come to their brother's wedding or visit when he lost his son.

I couldn't be around Stacey either, the betrayal is too great.

The actress who plays Nancy seems lovely. Her skin is beautiful too.

Oh I just find Nancy to be too judgemental sometimes! I just can't warm to her anymore. I only really like Mick, Linda and Shirley. Any other Carter can bugger off. Oh and Buster, although obviously not technically a Carter.

I really hope that Shabnam can build a good life for her and Jade. I'll miss her as an actor though.

Have there been any spoliers about Martin finding out Kush is Arthur's father?

so jade gets shoved to pillar to post with who she lives with, surprised that shirely and B said it was fine, even more surprised that ss didnt object

shabs found a flat 2 bus stops away in a day and managed to move in, without any checks etc

Yes poor Kush arrives single then in a year has a child who dies- discovers his wife had a previous child- then fathers a child with wife's friend. Wonder how long Martin story line will go. Hope it's soon. Seems cruel let him cope with Stacey and two kids when he's isn't baby's father.

I can't see Shabs coping with Jade very well, especially when she gets to be a teen. Seems a bit of a handful!

Think there was about 3-4 weeks gap between sleeping with Kush, him getting back SHab and then her Martin going out and sleeping together. That's why she didn't take him scans or show any pictures because the dates would have been out enough for him to notice.

Shabs slept with kush think Feb as a one off and felt bad. Didn't then see him. Stacey slept with kush maybe 2 weeks later if gave birth Xmas eve - we didn't ever see her sleep with him or any romance etc

Shabs and kush get together and Stacey and kush exchange a sordid kiss and meaningful looks but say they can't do anything as kush is with Shabs

Few months later. Shabs is 3mths preg and tells kush who says they must get married by which time Stacey is seeing Martin and finds out she is preg

We all assume its martins baby

Shabs and kush then have a stillbirn :( then few months later Stacey gives birth

I'm not sure why they are taking her word on it either, She also said god was the baby's father.
You would think her phycotic episode would be enough to spread doubt on the whole thing.

It was by the scan dates. Guess they know how many weeks so if had just got with Martin but been 5:6 weeks preg then not his

Agree if I were kush I would want a dna test and now Shabs knows why doesn't he have one done to know for sure

The Shabs leaving story was so rushed. She split up with Kush then the following morning she has found a new flat ready to move into, Shirley has called ss and they ok'd it all pronto, and Shabs packed all for stuff and Shirley packed for Jade and they were off before teatime. lol. I always expected it to be Shabs to tell Martin, i'm fully expecting it to be Masood now. And yes Carmel is annoying!

Why couldn't they have let Kush go with her and he can just come back for work, it's called commuting EE writers! Although we all know that if you don't live and work in the square you can't be in it.

That divorce scene was so sad. They both love each other, I don't get why it couldn't work tbh, didn't really make sense. Jade is a brat!

Why does Carmel have to bloody be attached to Kush to much! It's so annoying. She was even stood there watching when Shabnam was talking to Kush in their living room, think she was telling him she was leaving. Ffs give them some privacy woman!
