God that kidney transplant story was dreadful and never ending! It was also mainly set in the very same hospital room/waiting room used by Ronnie/Phil/Denny/anyone else ever been in hospital, including prob where Jamie died.

Vic kitchen upstairs wouldn't be registered for health and safety so they can't cook food there and charge for it

They havnt even closed the laundrette I'm very confused! Even if they had given the owner lot money for missing takings why did for not now?

According to Radio Times cast list, she's Hannah Reynolds so I'm guessing Joel's daughter since she had his flowers to throw back at Ronnie. Why she said Ronnie killed him is beyond me, though!

Laundrettes have their place if you live in bed sits or in emergencys. Anyone who has normal sized kitchen would have one. Plus used cost about £3.50 load to wash never mind dry about 20y ago!

Fantastic comedy from Dot tonight, best part of the episode for me.

Lacey Turner was fantastic again though, I thought the scene of Arthur and Stacey being reunited was really moving.

I'm guessing that Joel's daughter is blaming Ronnie for her Dad never getting over Danielle or something like that.

Yes NuggetofPurestGreen, the Ferrarias did have that bloody long kidney transplant story! It's actually pretty interesting what happened with that. According to Wikipedia there was going to be some dramatic storyline where the kids snapped and killed their abusive dad. It was going to be a HUGE part of the show and go on for weeks. Then the Indian actor playing the dad had problems with his visa and was basically dragged off the set, so they were buggered. They had to rewrite weeks of scripts full of filler and came up with the kidney nonsense, as well as some other terrible storylines for other characters.

That explains why I stopped watching it back then!
