I wondered why Denise and Patrick moved in. Surely Kim would rather let them stay in the B&B and keep it as an investment, than have everyone move in.

Another flat with magic infinity bedrooms!

ArtfulPuss · 02/02/2016 06:23

My favourite quote of last night's was Denise's 'four minutes and a ping', repeated to Kim when she was trying to engineer her shagging time with Vincent.

WannaBeAMummy16 · 02/02/2016 07:45

Denise and Patrick have moved in because the builders are in the B&B, Denise did explain that in last nights episode.

SymphonyofShadows · 02/02/2016 08:27

I don't think Kim's place is a flat. It's quite a big house.

LemonBreeland · 02/02/2016 10:26

Last nights episode felt like a complete waste of time. It felt like it was filling time and nothing happened.

MissBattleaxe · 02/02/2016 10:29

Yes it was a bit dull last night. I still think the launderette curry house was a bit far fetched,

celeste83 · 02/02/2016 11:31

The laundrette curry house is stupidly far fetched indeed. I'm sure Dot does keep it spick and span but seriously who would want to sit down and eat inside a laundrette? Also how did they get h&s certificate so quick? They only thought of the idea of the laudnrette last Friday! And yes Lee and Donna sitting down for dinner was random. Didn't even know they were mates as such.

SymphonyofShadows · 02/02/2016 11:38

The thing about pop-up restaurants is that they are usually in a place where food wouldn't normally be served and by invitation or pre-booking, which gets around the food hygiene rules bit. They used to be a way of young chefs raising funds to set themselves up properly, so EE got that bit right, but they are on the wane now as big companies have jumped on the bandwagon (pop-up Nandos at festivals etc.)

They didn't make it clear until last night that it was going to be a pop-up. Tamwar made it sound like they were taking over the lease.

gingercat02 · 02/02/2016 14:12

I quite liked the pop up bit. But totally weird clientele. I assumed that as everything was prepared in the Vic (downstairs catering) kitchen that would cover them for food hygiene and byob would deal with licencing.
Stacey and Arthur was lovely but so sad.
I thought Joel's daughter meant he had committed suicide (having been depressed his whole adult life about Ronnie!)
Odd episode but loved the fact Sharon finally took charge and booted Phil out.

nancy75 · 02/02/2016 14:19

Am I right in thinking that Tam & Nancy's pop up restaurant just sells fish fingers in curry sauce? (the curry sauces have varying levels of heat)

Surely this is going to appeal to a rather limited selection of clientele?

After visiting once would you ever return?

Why on earth would either of them give up their jobs to do a one night pop up restaurant? Are they going to buy Beale's on the profits from one night in the launderette?

So many questions...

Akire · 02/02/2016 14:26

Was confusing to first we had pre school early morning getting ready so before 9am and had everyone in vic kitchen talking about sauce. Then suddenly to late to do anything ... Ok so had to cook fish and get tables next door but with 7-8 adults hardly a chore. Then just wheeled food/hot tray next door.

Then kicked Dot out despite her not knowing anything about it and turning away customers. Then served in the evening? I thought pop up had tickets to do popping in thing seemed odd.

Nancy handing in notice hardly a thing since parents could take her back any time but Tam without a place or even doing a stall first? Still I mean we do need more places to eat!

notquitehuman · 02/02/2016 15:51

I missed the builders line. Shouldn't be simultaneously pissing about on Mumsnet while watching TV!

bialystockandbloom · 02/02/2016 16:47

I know! I've got a great idea! A pop up restaurant offering curry sauce on fish fingers, in a manky old launderette already full of stale fag smoke from the back room. Mmm, what's not to love? Hmm

Akire · 02/02/2016 19:50

Anyone else lost Ronnie plot? Was this years and years ago or all new?

nancy75 · 02/02/2016 19:55

Ronnie found Joel after Danielle died, I think they had a flIng and then she realised she didn't want him.

unimaginativename13 · 02/02/2016 19:57

Was it the one where she poked holes in the condoms?

nancy75 · 02/02/2016 19:59

I think the holes in the condoms was with jack but I can't be sure

SymphonyofShadows · 02/02/2016 19:59

I didn't see the beginning but I thought the bit with Nancy was very realistic. My sister has those episodes in times of high stress and it was exactly the same.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 02/02/2016 20:08

To say Ronnie has always longed for a baby and after losing baby James. She doesn't seem like the dedicated mother, you'd think she'd be. I don't think Ive ever seen her interact with Matthew

notquitehuman · 02/02/2016 20:58

I kinda wanted to try the curry fish fingers! The restaurant did look kinda crap though.

No need to take it out on Tamwar. Poor guy. He's such a good brother.

Gwenhwyfar · 02/02/2016 21:03

"I think the holes in the condoms was with jack but I can't be sure"

Yes, with Jack.

LovelyFriend · 02/02/2016 21:16

Masood turns very nasty very quickly for such a "nice guy".

Akire · 02/02/2016 21:21
