Ahh, I wish that were the case woof. She could curate a museum exhibit on plastic carrier bags through the ages (1965 - 2016), but anything of value and also of no value is swiped by BIL. I'm obviously in line for the coathangers so I'll have to fight my corner there.

I'm impressed at your trial run mads, that sounds very organised. I think I did one settling in session at nursery and then it was the real thing. I'm a big believer in getting everything ready the night before, so clothes laid out, bags packed etc.

Rainy and windy here. Later on taking the boys for some booster injections and then meeting a friend tonight for tea out without kids I must add havent seen her in ages so looking forward to that.

Trying to be organised as hate being late and haven't really had a routine since last April. DS has some settling nursery sessions coming up, this morning was more for me to sort myself out, and clearly it needs work!!
Mum and dad have him till 3 so trying to get all the jobs done that I can't do when he's here. So much to do but all I want to do is watch w&p... Must not get distracted by JN!

Yes mads JN is one hell of a distraction. I can't get the visions of him in brocade out my mind. But the ballroom scene was gorgeous. Did you see that episode yet?

Came home after picking the boys up from nursery to find that roadworks bollards have been put up across the road from the house. One of the workmen had a nice smile, a bit of an overgrown beard but its something to look at while the boys are ensconsed watching Nick Jr.

Yes kelly seen that one and loved the ballroom scene, he looked amazing in his grey brocade thingy just haven't seen the most recent one. I'm quite proud I've avoided it today! Have a nice meal

OK I've already moved onto speculation on plot lines so here goes - if CJ is returning (hope that's not a very unkind joke - surely not!) and needs to polish his boots, maybe he didn't leave the army after all - what does that mean for the fictional future of CJ and Molly? Did it all end in disaster or are those boots not actually made for walking (or marching or possibly ending up someone's backside!) or maybe he just can't kick the habit of wearing new boots because he needs a certain medic to tend to his blisters?

Need to rant.... didn't bat an eyelid when DH being away went from 3 weeks to just over 5 weeks, missing my birthday again and Sarah Millican ( I am still going). Smiled my way through his arsey phonecall at weekend but he's just phoned, whinged and then made narky comments about his sis sending pics etc, and me not!!!!!! He's only away for a bit, I was issued strict instructions not to waste his wifi minutes by sending pics and that's about 10 minutes of alloted phone minutes spent with him being bellendrical.
Right, feel better now.... so ice are you open to bribery?

MrMads is having a paddy because he can't play football on one of the nights on my first week back at work due to nursery picks up/dog walking. He's sounds about 13 doesn't he?! I'm struggling with sympathy right now!

Sympathies to mooj and mads and joining in with a little rant of my own. Off work this week on hol, but had to go to dr today - have completely lost my voice with laryngitis. So not exactly a holiday, and feeling like utter shite yet am still running about sorting the kids uniforms for tomorrow and making dinner etc. Thank god for some good news to brighten up the day!

Think it was rich who asked, but no RLC at the wedding at the weekend. A shame since I really needed somebody there to be more spectacularly drunk than me
