Thamks ice great work on the bulge enhancement Grin

KellyHb · 23/01/2016 11:06

Morning all.

Really sunny here today but not been out yet so don't know how warm it is.

Out shopping with my Mam this afternoon as she fancies a look round the shops before she gets too tired later on. Leaving all the kids with DH Grin

Hope you have a great time today Jen and no one loses their bits and bobs.

Oo rich the Savoy, very nice. That's the sort of place I'd spend most my time staring at how amazing the decor would be. I'm imagining lots of CJ types in the dinner suits. Smile

We've got a few play areas round here but the main one is attached to a large pub, so if you need alcohol, you just pop into the pub bit to buy it and bring it through to the kids part not that I've been buying numerous glasses of wine there before

BA was a goodie in Lucky Man but he didn't have that much of a speaking part IMO. I had to laugh at the part where he told a man to put his gun down and the man shot at BA and he jumped out the way and fell in the river to be pulled out 2 seconds later-bless him. I don't want to say too much more for people who haven't seen it. I don't think I'll be watching the rest of the series though.

Hello ladies. Sorry the absence. All been a bit busy with work and DS2's birthday last weekend.
Belated happy birthday to the other birthday boys and hope you are feeling better and have a lovely time at the wedding Jen
I've recorded lucky man fortunately as I'd lost track of time as I was scanning in reports about DS1 to send to a new Occupational therapist to support DS1 who has autism and sensory processing difficulties . We managed to get 6 sessions on the NHS but they've discharged him now and his needs are ongoing
Enjoy your weekends. We're away to DH's family for family christening tomorrow

cjwoofwoof · 23/01/2016 12:58

Afternoon all. Hope the wedding goes well jen and you all have a good time. Welcome back apsara ditto to RL getting in the way sometimes.

Great pics ice . Managed to watch Lucky Man AND record it as DH fell for the "There's a new drama with James Nesbitt in at 9 o'clock" routine. Now I can ff to all the BA bits at my leisure when DH is out, snigger.

Thought the show was a bit clunky imo and felt like a travelogue for Sights to See When Visiting London. I agree with mooj that JNs eyebrows and full head of hair when you know he's thinning were v.annoying. I do love his Irish accent though.

Don't know if you noticed me and orph as extras in the Lapdancing club scene with Omid Dharjili. Must admit that g-string was cutting edge and I only agreed to hang upside down on the pole because the director said BA was in that scene and I needed to show my best parts to him the camera Blush I would've much preferred orphs role cavorting above their heads in the cage, but she only got that part coz she told the producers she felt like a cockatoo....

Thought BA looked divine if a little baby faced, but way underused i thought and not Bossman enough. In fact I'd go as far as to say he acted like a complete bellend shouting out "you're under arrest" to the baddy just for a gratuitous boat chase scene. He must've gone Eek! when he practised that clunky scene poor lamb, just to be tossed in the Thames anyway grrr!! Certainly a vision in leather rather than diarrhoea suede though. Don't know if I'll be tuning in next week or not - might be worth seeing if JNs hair has grown further and been plaited I suppose Confused

pixieg1rl · 23/01/2016 13:39

Eerily quiet at soft play this afternoon

MaddieMoo82 · 23/01/2016 14:33

Spotted you both in the pleasure place woof, you very flexible. You must pass on your tips for maintaining your flexibility... It must come in handy Wink

MaddieMoo82 · 23/01/2016 14:46

Palace not place!

cjwoofwoof · 23/01/2016 15:02

Copious amounts of cake and industrial strength Ibuleve is the secret mads . Unfortunately orph has only ever embraced the cake part of our fitness regime, hence the girth of chain required to keep her cage suspended Grin

Richtea19 · 23/01/2016 15:03

ice well done on the lightened zoomed bulge. Def worthy of your title!

Back from cross country going to de mud and then I'm planning of spreading out on sofa and not moving for a telly catch up including lucky man. DS who couldn't be bothered to run 7k in mud and hills did very well and now congratulating himself on not needing to train... Grrrr drives me mad!

ilove I remember DH face when you said we are not really mad. It was more of a he knows I'm mad face!!! What a misunderstanding that was!

pixie sounds like a posh soft play. Our one used to have caked on ketchup on table cloths from many parties before. Very "greasy " and fried food was the only option.

kelly the savoy is gorgeous, completely refinished but sympathetically to how it should be. It's the one night a year that we really dress up, just hope I can squeeze into my frock!

pixieg1rl · 23/01/2016 16:40

Sounds very nice Rich, although I spend most of my life avoiding anything that involves me dressing up. I like the idea of something less dressy like tea at the Savoy, so I can gawp at the place. quite frankly a meal out that doesn't involve cutting up someone else's food, Tesco club card vouchers or distracting a child with the CBeebies app on my phone sounds luxurious.

Soft play was great, a completely random child who I never invited turned up, DS had arranged it and forgot to tell me. Confused

MaddieMoo82 · 23/01/2016 16:57

Glad it went well pix DS sounds like quite the planner! Smile

Have a great time at the savoy rich I sort of want to ask about the bailbrook house incident as it was before my time but am a little nervous to ask Hmm Wink

Thanks for the tips woof thought you both looked great so you obviously reaping the rewards of your hard work and cake

MaddieMoo82 · 23/01/2016 16:59

MrMads is off out to a top restaurant with mutual work friends. The food there is amazing. I on the otherhand have the bedtime routine and something from the freezer Confused

pixieg1rl · 23/01/2016 17:18

Any vodka in the freezer mads?

MaddieMoo82 · 23/01/2016 17:34

Nope pix some spag Bol and a lot of milk. MrMads however has kindly donated his last bottle of cider. He's thoughtful like that.

Richtea19 · 23/01/2016 18:02

Floating frozen peas, a bag of ice (to chill down my wine) and pizza, that's about all in our freezer.!

mads last year while we were planning our AGM and mass orgy, naked wrestling and other exciting ideas of woofs and -orphs my DH read the thread on my iPad and thought I was leaving him for group sex..... Yes sounds mad! Anyway water under the bridge and all that!

icemistOBE · 23/01/2016 18:20

Yay, always pleased to see BA's part getting bigger Grin

cjwoofwoof · 23/01/2016 18:40

Ooh good news ice . Let's hope he doesn't have any more limp lines to say to make Wiggy look all hard and cool Hmm

moojangles · 23/01/2016 18:46

Yay. Glad it wasn't just me woof

MaddieMoo82 · 23/01/2016 18:49

Yay! Ooh maybe they'll be a topless hospital convalesce scene where he'll have Thames gunk in his hair still Grin
Ah ok rich did wonder! Makes sense now! Smile

cjwoofwoof · 23/01/2016 19:20

Hell yes mads would love to see vulnerable DS Grady covered in tubes and nothing else giving police lady gf those puppy eyes saying "I've let Wiggy down"

MaddieMoo82 · 23/01/2016 19:39

Well it either naked on a morgue plinth or that scenario woof, don't mind either Grin

Ilovelblue · 23/01/2016 20:49

Doesn't sound as if I missed too much last night with Lucky Man but those shots of BA were very pleasant. Both Graham Norton and Chris Evans really raved about Lucky Man, but I suppose they were being paid to say nice things.

Got most of my apple tree pruned this afternoon but there is one branch I struggle with though as I was ready to try and reach it, the rain came down again so that's for next Sunday (maybe). I've had a massive cooking session as well with some of my Tesco bargains - venisons steaks, turkey breast fillets and salmon. Well, I just froze the salmon but cooked the rest and then froze most of them. The freezer is stuffed full now.
