Raining here and windy. Its supposed to be sunny and warm later but I'll believe it when I see it.

Chilly and wet here as well. I was planning on going off sick today (cold and feeling bleugh) just popped onto work e mail to send an e mail...an hour later I'm still working)

Ah it's rubbish weather here too but supposed to brighten up! Still trying to convince MrMads to play football tonight so I can watch 1 minute of BA meeting his dodgy end in a speedboat in peace but he's not having it at the mo

Morning all - off work today so of course am immediately feeling ill . Picked up cold from the kids again! Got BIL's wedding tomorrow, am going to have to stock up on lemsip and whisky to survive it...

Urgh, rest up today jen and hopefully the cold won't slay you over the weekend. This wedding, was this the one where your sons are wearing kilts? Which is a nice excuse to drool post a photo of a kilt...

Do they still unbuckle at the side? Asking on the off chance I ever need to help someone out of one because that's what I remember from when my mum dressed me in one

Yeah there's a buckle on each side so easy enough. It's more the prospect of convincing them to keep on the shirt, tie, waistcoat, jacket, sporran etc all day and not losing them that's the worry!

To be fair, I don't think I'd be able to keep track of all that stuff all day either. In my limited experience of children at a wedding I have him looking smart for the ceremony and then change him into something more comfy for the reception

There's a common syndrome amongst Kiwi women, Woof, especially us pasty Celtic types, called Brown Boy-itis. I think you'd probably catch it if you came here. You've got a few of the symptoms already.

Watching EE, Lacey is acting her socks off. Bringing up some horrible memories of getting my mum sectioned though, I feel sorry for poor Martin.

Thanks! I've decided to drink through the feeling crap - have opened bottle of prosecco and need to tackle nails / excess body hair before I can wear a dress tomorrow . Cannot be arsed. Think the prosecco will help!!

I was gonna say pix that it must've been an emotional episode of EE as LT's trending high on Twitter. She mustve been acting her socks off tonight as she has been all way through. I'll catch up on that later even though I haven't been following the storyline.

Has LT not been nominated at the NTA's this week?
