Alfie's tumour wasn't growing and he was to report to them if he started having symptons, so its kind of leaving scope for later drama. I don;t think they actually said it was benign. He played it down a bit I think. Kat didn't have a go at him because I think she had nothing left.

Compared to dullsville Corrie, EE is on fire at the moment. Stacey, Kat and Shabnam are all great actors. But I am starting to ask why on earth nopody has called Stacey Care Team. It's obvious to a blind man she's in urgent need of help. Maybe Martin's afraid they'll take Rubber Arthur.

Alfie failed to mention the headaches he was having to the doctor though.

I think the time frame of the current episode is making Staceys psychosis look like it has been happening for weeks when in Soap Time it hasn't been that long. The recent events have only been one evening despite being a weeks worth of episodes. It's perhaps more understandable that no one has done anything yet with that time frame.

You're right SoupDragon. The timeframe is confusing me. I feel like she's been ill for a fortnight!

I agree - I have to keep reminding myself that its only been perhaps a week in total, going by Christmas and Mick & Linda's wedding.

She was starting to lose her grip on reality shortly after she came home with Arthur but I think it's only been a few days since she succumbed completely.

I think Stacey was referring to God as rubber Arthur's real dad

I know that Shabnam gets a lot of stick and she can be annoying, but I think the actress who plays her is phenomenal.

I thought she played those scenes really well but she irks me. She is another one who got a whole new personality along with her head. I remember the other one really well and they have just made her too different.

I agree about the actress who plays Shabnam- she acts with her eyes. Very powerful.

I think the whole thing with Jade is what caused the change in her personality. It's obviously a very exaggerated change because it's a soap but it does make sense that person would change after that and I think they've made her more like Zainab which would also make sense.
