Eastenders gossipers into the new year

New thread for Eastenders gossipers! Who will come back from the dead next?
Will the Bobby storyline ever end?
Will Claudette ever decide on an accent?

Just watching last weeks Silent Witness. The actor who played Jonny Carter was the David the son of the killer of a pregnant woman. So he is doing other work. Don't know if that means he is out of contract with EE or if the beeb let them work on other projects with them?

I think he left because he didn't want to play that character anymore. There were rumours that he didn't want to play a gay character but I'm not sure if there was any truth in that.

I forgot how much Michelle used to be in it. I suppose it was the Fowler show for quite a few years. My parents watched Eastenders religiously, and watching clips from it in the 80s/early 90s is so strange.

Susan Tully who played Michelle Fowler is now a TV producer, I've even seen her name crop up on EE credits once or twice.
She was in it a lot, her stories about her daughter Vicky, marrying Lofty ( i think that was his nickname? Could be wrong) even a brief fling with Grant, who she used to hate! The whole Dirty Den was the daddy was really good too. Good old days..

2016 prediction: Jack returns to clear Max's name after Lauren alludes to Lucy's killer still being on the square.

Love the Sharon's father being Claudettes pimp storyline.

I think Stacey will be sectioned and Kush, at Carmels insistence, will push for custody of baby Auther. Dna will reveal he's not the father after all - it will actually be Martins.

Love the Bobby battering a boarding school kid and ending up arrested and truth coming out.

Alfie and Kat go to Ireland as we know. They find Luke who turns out not to be Luke but some other character we've met previously who has a different name.

Kalfie return to square for Alfie's Xmas death.

Jack will return with Amy and he and Ronnie will live with both the children (who may get out of the cupboard for a few episodes). Jack discovers that Ronnie has commited various murders and so they leave the country together.

Charlie returns - not sure why or how but I'll have a think about that one!

I had forgotten about the nearly kiss with mik and Whitney. Though why babe pulled such a face on first seeing it- we know he loves Linda! Fair enough if she kept catching them but seriously. It's hardly like Whitney is a catch I wish she would leave.

They started the story with lee and PTSD months ago and apart from him getting drunk and walking out its a very slow story line.

Les and Pam have to get back together hopefully les will be allowed to show her his other self more. Or rather pointless storyline!

We have end Bobby story line soon or are they going to keep it burning up to the next 25y when Max will get out and prove innocence??

I can imagine a replay of the story about Bobbie Beale's parentage, where we were 100% certain Ian wasn't the father but the DNA test said he was. But by then the damage was done...

Yes they did say something about Gavin being worse. What I couldn't get over when he turned up at the hospital, is that there was a very clear line of brown/orange down the side of his neck, half was brown/orange, the other half white! Was so obvious and crap looking.

Jays been quiet for a while - just there really - so I'm sure he's due something to get his teeth into.

I did actually laugh at max coming out in 25 years and Bobby admitting his guilt/being found guilty. Guess that's the script for the 50th anniversary live

Another true to form storyline that nobody cares about or invested in becuase the action and characters have never been seen or heard from until last year.

Youarentkiddingme - not to give too much away (spoilers go in the other thread), but apparently Jay has his biggest storyline coming up next year. I always forget he exists!

I love Jay, so I'm looking forward to that.

I have absolutely zero interest in any Gavin/Sharon etc storyline. Yawn. I couldn't care less about all these characters who claim to have been around years ago but have never been seen before. Ridiculous.

I do like Jay, I was gutted that the Lola romance finally blossomed and then they just got rid of her and that was the end of it. Wierd.
