Did some of you maybe miss the 2nd episode on Thursday? That's when Shabs found out for definite.

She was behind the door and Kush was talking to Carmel.

Has the truth been told about Kyle? I heard Martin saying to Stacey that there was no brother.
But has Kyle told Stacey?

No, Kyle hasn't had the chance to explain to Stacey.

He was trying to tell her but, at the moment, the assumption is that he is a con artist because there were only girls.

I've finally caught up with easterners after months of watching on demand!

Just watched the double episode tonight. Poor Stacey. How no one realised though? She didn't speak for days and then wouldn't stop talking and was all over the place. I thought Martin was meant to be clued up about it!

GUTTED about fat boy - not sure if been discussed before but he didn't get the slow music at the end of the episode?

Poor Kat. Though Jessie did well in the episode with Charlie dying.

I was sick fed up with Kat and Alfie when they left but actually quite glad to see them back.

Does Phil die.

Good point about Fatboy not getting Julia's theme (the sad music).
I do wonder if he'd pissed off the writers as his ending was quite harsh. It might just be that the music wouldn't fit with the dramatic death.

The person who played Charlie was on the radio yesterday, people have actually been sending flowers and wreaths.

I wonder whether Martin hasn't "noticed" because Stacey has given him a hard time about blaming stuff on her bipolar before. He's probably worried about being screeched at.

Of course, the story wouldn't work if people noticed and got her help right away I guess!

Martin actually redeemed himself when he realised it was the bi polar and reported her missing as 'vulnerable and has just had a baby'.

Of course baby is not Kush's. Why break Shabs heart again - and necessarily!

Ds made me laugh when he said "of course there's now a roof with stairs to it that no knee knew about or has ever used before!".
TBH he's 11 and only just started watching the odd episode but seems he's got the measure of EE already!

Sorry my scone sentence made no sense! I meant why necessarily break Shabs heart. I mean they've smashed it to boys already why would the final dagger be over the truth?

My 2016 predictions:

Stacey gets sectioned leaving Martin to care for Lily and Arthur. Lily becomes very difficult. Shabs breaks up with Kush. Shabs tells Martin Kush is the father. Kush goes for custody of Arthur. I can't decide if Kush will use Arthur / trying to get Arthur as a means of getting Shabs back or if he will end up with Stacey.
Either way, Martin is soooo boring, I wish he'd leave!!

Kat's son Luke will turn out to be the Luke that Stacey dated. Once Stacey is better, she will be attracted to him and they will start a relationship (like Sharon and dead hubby / brother Denny). Alfie will suddenly collapse and Kat will discover the truth about his illness. Alfie might be 2016 Xmas death, reminiscent of nana moon dying.

Claudette and Sharon's dad were gangsters together, or possibly, he was her pimp. Vincent will look for his father and find him alive. The father was also a grass (possibly grassing up Sharon's dad?) and had to leave to go into hiding, which is why Claudette hates grasses so much.

Sharon's father will return properly and will go after Vincent / Claudette and Phil for some reason. Mitchells and Hubbards will become allies with Sharon caught in the middle.

Mick and Witney will have an affair. Mick will become very self destructive when he is found out. He will be ostracised and possibly homeless.

Denise will find Jordan who is having problems and he will come to live with her. He will be a big trouble maker and v manipulative like Lucas. Lucas will get early release for good behaviour and will use Jordan to try to worm his way back in.

Ronnie and Jack will continue their relationship. It will emerge that Jack is working for the police and has come out of retirement to investigate her for the disappearance of Charlie & roxy's BF who she murdered. Ronnie finds out his plans and rekindles her affair with Vincent so he can help her out. Maybe she kills Jack? Probably tied in with Hubbards storyline.
Roxy's returns at some point, with a new BF.

Sonia & her gf get married and try to adopt.

Lauren & Peter return.

Surely it's got to come out about Bloody Bobby Beale and max will be freed eventually.

Nancy will convert to Islam and it will cause all kinds of tensions.

You should print that out and tick off how many are true at the end of the year.

Agree on the Arthur custody thing but I think that Carmel and Kush will have departed by the end of the year. Making him the dad has ruined him.
Think that Whitney will become infatuated with Mick, but they won't have an actual affair. babe will be shit stirring
Is Max back coming back at some point this year? The Lucy murder will rear its ugly head again. Lauren will be back but probably not with Peter as he's moved onto films IRL.
I wish Lucas was coming back, but he killed 2/3 (?) people and kidnapped Denise, even EE couldn't fudge their way out of that life sentence
Hate the gangster storylines, so don't care what happens

Bobby Beale will lamp somebody at boarding school kid will end up in hospital Bobby will be arrested and it will all come pouring out Max will be released

Tam and Nancy will open a bistro making fish finger fusion food

Y to Nancy converting and marrying Tam and Y to Bobby hitting someone at boarding school and it coming out that way.

If Max came back, what would he be like?

And anyone got any other ideas on Hubbards / Sharon's father?

Ben and Paul will be at it again. Abby will find out and go nuts

Oh, yes, forgot about Ben & Paul!! I reckon Abbey gets preg and finds out about Ben & Paul whilst preg but before having told Ben that she is Preg... Then she will either run away to have it, abort and Ben will never forgive her or pretend she had an affair and Ben isn't the dad.

He said on the phone in the cafe that he hadn't told Stacey something as it wasn't the kind of thing you just drop into conversation.

I don't think he's a con man, I think he's had a sex change.

Love the predictions! Yes, Kyle is Sarah, the actor is a transman so it's not too much of a leap
Not convinced it will be the same Luke as we'd have had a hint by now, Stacey alluding to the relationship as a time when she was happy or something.
Also think that everyone will think there's a Whitney/Mick relationship but Mick will be innocent. His & his son's relationship will be ruined though. Will Johnny come back at some point?
The Claudette and Denise storylines sound very, very plausible though! I also want to see some more Les/Pam/Christine stuff, it's about time they got back together.

Yes, Kyle is definitely transgender. Its information that was announced by EE when he was cast. However, the assumption of the current storyline is that the cast think he is a con man because there were no sons.

Les and Pam! I'd totally forgotten about that story so have the scriptwriters
