New thread for Eastenders gossipers! Who will come back from the dead next?
Will the Bobby storyline ever end?
Will Claudette ever decide on an accent?

Ian's annoying me with the "tell Kat the truth" nonsense. They'd been lying to Bobby for close to a year about Lucy

notquitehuman · 02/01/2016 12:27

Maybe the hotel didn't have its own baby cupboard.

tobee · 02/01/2016 17:38

Do you think they will do a proper storyline with Phil and his sclerosis? Him deciding to be responsible and undergo treatment and really give up the booze. I think they could do it in a similar vein to Carol and her breast cancer; a long storyline because that's realistic rather than a long storyline that's dragged out forever for the sake of it. I would miss drunk Phil though because I think Steve McF is the best at acting drunk actor I've ever seen. The way his eyes go!

MissBattleaxe · 02/01/2016 17:41

Steve McFadden is a superb drunk actor because he does that thing drunk people do where they try not act drunk. You can see him trying to get his words out and trying to hide his drunkenness. It a very naturalistic way of sort of under-doing it. He's a very good actor.

DoesntLeftoverTurkeySoupDragOn · 02/01/2016 17:49

Maybe he isn't acting :o

I think he is going to give up drinking - I think seeing what he's done to Denny as well as the cirrhosis has got to him.

tobee · 02/01/2016 18:12

Jeez, I'm embarrassed. Just seen I wrote slerosis not cirrhosis (despite the websites and leaflets Phil's been looking at with "cirrhosis " written on them in big letters!)

tobee · 02/01/2016 18:13

Now I can't even spell sclerosis. I rely on autocorrect too much.

Snazarooney · 02/01/2016 18:21

That song they played at the wedding was indeed awful. I had to press mute!

The80sweregreat · 02/01/2016 18:58

Big story with Kats dad coming up soon. I read it a while ago.
I wonder if Alfie will be cured or die?

notquitehuman · 02/01/2016 20:31

Phil is a great drunk because he naturally just looks pissed! I think it's the red face and stare that does it.

MissBattleaxe · 02/01/2016 21:40

Phil reminds me of a colicky baby.

tobee · 02/01/2016 22:18

Phil seems to be attractive to women. Anyone here get it? Is it just the power? (Which is debatable)

nancy75 · 02/01/2016 22:40

He looks like a drunk me potato head, I certainly don't get the attraction!

nancy75 · 02/01/2016 22:40

Mr potato head!!!

Gwenhwyfar · 03/01/2016 00:13

Sorry, but I do like Phil Blush

imwithspud · 03/01/2016 00:16

My dp can't stand Phil, has wanted him to be killed off for years. I personally couldn't imagine EE without Phil Mitchell, if they did kill him off it would be a huge shock.

Not sure what all the women he's had over the years see in him though.

Gwenhwyfar · 03/01/2016 01:05

"Not sure what all the women he's had over the years see in him though."

A mix of tough man and occasional softie? Not bad looking either imo, although he had a phase with a much fuller face. I sort of think his destiny is to be with Shirl.

SheHasAWildHeart · 03/01/2016 03:18

They had a right random collection of people at their wedding. Like why Kat Slater or even Donna?

MagpieCursedTea · 03/01/2016 09:24

I think Kat being there was because they were back and there's nothing better to do with her screechy face Alfie was mates with Mick.
Donna is always in the pub, maybe that's why she was there?
I liked seeing Tracey and all the market extras out of their natural habitats!

imwithspud · 03/01/2016 09:26

I think you could be right there, although I like Buster and would hate to see him left out in the cold!

I still maintain that he looks like an angry potato though.

OhTinky · 03/01/2016 09:33

Love that Lucas is back! Clearly he must be up for parole, he's been prison for about 5 years now...
Why were they all getting ready at Ian's house? Could they not have used a hotel bedroom? I know, I know, they need to be on the square!
I couldn't care less about Alfie's brain tumour.
Still don't know really why Roxy left or dumped her child in the process. Glenda has a good memory of 1981. So with all that in mind, who are they going to cast as Vincent's non dead dad?

notquitehuman · 03/01/2016 09:51

I assume Phil is quite well off at this point which might explain some of the women falling at his feet. I suppose he doesn't have much competition in the square for the single middle aged ladies. He reminds me of my dad though!

Yes Phil should be with Shirl. They're both a bit ropey and seem to play off each other quite well. Buster and Carol could dissappear on matching motorbikes, and Grant can come back for Sharon. Over invested? Moi?

It's weird that Mick's random friends from the stag do didn't get invited to the ceremony. And that nobody on EE has an extended family, unless they need a wacky aunt or stroppy teenage cousin to show up.

Lulooo · 03/01/2016 13:30

I like Shirley and Buster together. I'd hate to see her with Phil.

I dont think Vincent ts dad is going to end up being alive. I think it's going to come out that Claudette killed him. She's such a confusing character. She was so kind and understanding to the Cokers but is like a wicked witch when she's at home with her son.

Eminybob · 03/01/2016 13:40

I agree, she is like two different characters.

Goingtobeawesome · 03/01/2016 13:49

I don't get how Paul can be the Coker's grand child and related to claudette.
