Whatever happened to Shirley's daughter? I remember when Deano first arrived he had a sister in tow. Also Deano first arrived he was really nice.

Carly, thats her name. I am right in remembering Deano was nice first time round yes, or am i confusing him with Alfie's brother?

I thought deano was nice too. I remember thinking he was quite pretty.

I think Carly had a baby didn't she and after not speaking to Shirley for ages she let her meet the baby. I could be getting confused with a 90s storyline about Diane butcher though.

Yes, Carly had a baby and Shirley wanted to repair their relationship so she stayed with her for a while. I remembered Deano as being nice, but then I read Wikipedia and apparently he spiked Stacey's drink and framed Sean for some assault on Patrick? I don't remember that very well.

The NYD episodes should be good. Especially the 8pm one. Eek!

We have obviously spent far too long watching it Mrs j! I remember first getting gripped with the Phil Sharon grant triangle around 1993, I think?

I thought it was the best episode in ages. Great acting for all (The Mitchell's aside). I even felt sorry for Dean at one point, when he was like a lost little boy who needed the love of his Mum.

I think the Carter's blow a lot of the other families out the square when they're given a good storyline.

Looking forward to how this concludes.
