I couldn't find another thread but is anyone else excited?

I am. I only watched It for the first time Sunday and had finished series three by Monday!
what day does it start?

I think they wanted to make a film but seem to have done this instead. Fingers crossed this isn't the end. It's completely unbelievable but fab TV. Not that I love Idris....

BBC site says just two 1 hour episodes showing on Tues 15 & 22 Dec.....

So it does. They must have changed their mind. Roll on next Tuesday.

Its on tomorrow. Am very excited now. I don't watch many things on "normal" TV anymore. But am looking forwards to this just a bit.

Sooo excited. I discovered Luther in his first series and have followed him ever since.

Great line in the trailer;

It's already set up on series link, the only question is;
Do I save them to watch together or do I watch both parts individually?

I think I need to watch them when they are on. Not sure I can wait.

Ooh was looking for a Luther thread, I'm excited and a little scared, tbh.

The show is so dark but I can't help myself, I've read a spoiler about tonight's show, I'm mentally preparing to shove my head behind a pillow already 😆.

Ledkr the story lines on Luther are never realistic anyway. Plus it's all about Idris' acting...

We were debating whether DH would appreciate the boxset as a Christmas present? I'm going to use tonight as a taster.

Very excited here, have just finished a netflix recap in preparation. I do like Idris Elba but he will always be skinny Stringer Bell for me.

I'm very excited! Pity Alice doesn't seem to be in it but Idris is worth watching! As someone said above, I don't watch much regular telly but this is a must.

I'm a 'Nervous Nerys' type, I'm already preparing for the spine tingling moments which are in waiting.

I'm having to keep MN open on laptop whilst watching, just me and dd (toddler age, asleep and no help for scary bits) at home so will no doubt get scared yes I'm a fraidy cat
