The man under the bed and in the loft remains the scariest tv moment I've ever seen. I didn't sleep for weeks!

Good to hear it's nit as scary as the loft or under the bed, I might get brave enough to watch the recording tomorrow!

It was really good. Love Idris. He's a fabulous actor.

Watching it now on iplayer in the USA, the pigeon behind the door at the beginning has scared the bejeezus out of me already.... Off to check the doors are locked.

Dear God, need to watch the second one now (from behind my hands). The two episodes are being shown back to back on 17th on BBC America, might tune in but won't post about it before it's shown in the UK.

The worst bit was when Luther revealed he kept a burner phone to call Alice. As if anybody would A/ admit that, and 2/ keep the burner phone. I know it's a plot device, but it's so lazy it could've been stolen from The Archers.

I will be watching this late when DH is home ,I cant watch it by myself. The man under the bed in the last series, freaked me out so much , I ended up sleeping with the bedside light on for weeks. Totally agree the scariest pierce of telly ever !!

Loved it but was anyone else annoyed at the police officers wandering around crime scenes with no protective clothing. But even gloves for goodness sake. It really irritated me.

He's lush. Utterly lush.

And what kind of police show up outside a suspects house, lights on and sirens blaring and then sit there while he makes his escape. Better to go in quietly surely......?

Great tension and drama, can't wait for the next one and looking on Netflix for the older series

I'm a massive Luther fan but last nights episode was just bollocks. Idris was of course lush though.
Her out of GoT was shit in it. That tall man got killed off too quickly.

It was utter loony bolleaux but who cares when you can salivate over the luscious lothario Idris ? I would happily watch him read the phone directory out.

Pepperpot99 Totally agree with your assessment It just annoys me that he is so good, so charismatic and noone writes him anything half-acceptable.

DH has not seen the previous seasons, but today he can't stop saying "Don't cut corners while keeping someone chained by the radiator" in a menacing voice.

StillStayingClassy Luther will be devastated when he finds out about Alice and Noah Solloway.

I am not a fan of Ygritte either. She just looks so out of place and posh in this one.

I thought that was a fantastic episode. The lady detective is a bit shit. Maybe that's because I keep comparing her to Alice and Ripley.

Luther was fabulous. And reckless. And totallh badass. Some very clichéd parts but still awesome. Totally had me on edge of my seat.
