Omg, I just catched my breath after reading of your carol service and looking at the pictures! What a night!! I am so very happy for you, ladies!! I was unfortunately involved in another "event" which looking back now wasn't really that eventful, but it's the one gala we do in our industry...I could not miss it. Bah humbug! I should have missed it. How's real life for everyone? Has anyone got any juicy gossip relative to the new series? Nothing filtering through? And what is our BA working on?

Hi cherin (waves). Not much Intel at all yet really about S2 apart from MK will be in it. We must be hearing something soon esp if filming starts in Jan.

I never learn - Xmas markets are overrated and overpriced. I was hoping to find some new tree decs but just ended up drinking a lot of mulled wine. By the way, hot mead is disgusting needed more mulled wine to get rid of the taste Highlight was a man with a gorgeous French accent who served me. The way he said 'Pompidou' don't ask was quite something.

Oh and I stalked a CJ lookalike (If CJ wore funky trainers and had stubble) round Tate Modern.

Unfortunately Kel CJ will be moving on in the morning, so make the most of him!! the Land Rover Discovery Sport is ready and primed - deemed to be the most suitable vehicle for travelling in such treacherous conditions across the wilds of Scotland in this lovely weather we are having! MrBK had suggested the Lotus Esprit but with flooding not an option!!

Jen can you then ensure he gets to ilove who will forward him back to orph I believe before I come and collect him to return him to the bosom of his family for Christmas!! All this driving has meant I'm really looking forward to my weeks stay at the Spa! Just seen the Boot Camp programme that MR BK has booked for us - will need another week off to get over it I think!! Or a rub down form a certain Captain - least he can do!!

Morning! Feeling a little less Grinch-like today mainly cos I did a load of online pressie shopping last night after my Xmas market failure. Can really recommend Anthropologie, items come quickly and well packed. Presents sorted for girlfriends and sister and I may have ordered a few things for myself.

BK I don't think I'm due another CJ visit. Neither of us are ready for a rematch and besides Rupert is hard enough to handle without dealing with hissy jealousy strops.

Jen there are no trains running from Scotland down here with the floods. Let's see what happens by Thursday. If we're still struggling, put him on a flight and I'll drive down to Manchester airport. It's not too far. I can get him to ice after I've worn him out.

Big week for our charity events at work. Spent most of last night separating raffle tickets.

orphan the last Xmas market I went to was in Munich in 2012 and I have to admit, as nice as it was at first, I got really fed up by the end. There are only so many wooden tree ornaments you can buy and the gluhwein can be quite mediocre! Have to say though, the 'proper' shops in Munich knew how to do Xmas! Not as tacky as some of the ones in the UK.

Oooh, this is exciting!! I've not had him since my friend's wedding in May, looking forward to this! It would be a tragedy for everyone except me if he was stranded here for the foreseeable due to the weather

Have to agree about Christmas markets. The one in Bath last weekend was total mayhem. The weather was foul but still you couldn't get near most of the stalls.

Re SCD - anyone else think Darcey was in tears at the end? Also, Craig saying that the public put Helen in the bottom two was a bit rich, as so did the judges!

Today is my DTs birthdays and also one twin's first secondary school parents evening. Not very convenient! Darcey is a fellow year 7 parent, I wonder if she will be there?! If so I hope I don't get too close I would feel like a very drab elephant next to her!

Gosh always, MrP will be envious, he and DS love Darcey (or as he's taught DS to call her Dancy Butthole).

Yes ilove CJ definately lived up to expectations quite a few times over the weekend!

The element in our oven blew last night just as we were about to make tea so I have to go into town this morning to buy a new one. Hopefully I can just dash in and out as it'll be packed this morning even on a weekday!

Our oven did that Kelly, replacing the element was really easy (aka MrP could do it without swearing). Down side is that now I have to clean the oven.

Hi cherin missed you last night. What a great few days. Ladies meeting BA, me getting his autograph (thanks Lola). From all accounts he's just as lovely and friendly as we thought.

Just waiting at dentist for follow up to the appointment the other week. Still get the odd twinge but infection gone I think.

Saw postman on our way down street. Hoping he's brought my autograph

The elements gone a few times pix over the years so DH pretty much okay with doing it. Ditto on it being one of the few jobs DH doesn't swear at either.

Our oven rarely gets cleaned tbh and its a job we always put off
I think I've twisted DH's arm for us to get a new kitchen next year so I'll wait until we get a new oven. Very lazy really.

Dentist was fine, infection gone but have to monitor it.

Been on a trek to get a wii u console. Just made it back for school run.

Thanks for my special delivery this morning BK . CJ has only been here for a few hours, but has already made his mark! Came along to the nursery nativity play at lunchtime, thought the other mums (and some of the grans actually) were going to pass out at the sight...

He's put up the Christmas lights outside the house and is now assisting me in wrapping presents for DS's birthday tomorrow. It's amazing what the pre-cut strips of tape will stick to if they're rubbed hard enough
