Will this do?

OP posts:
christinarossetti · 03/12/2015 13:03

I like Charlene. Yes, she's a bit gratey, has awful taste in bright clothing, but I think she's very competent and personable, with a good head on he shoulders.

Not sure that she's strong enough to win, though.

She would have stood the 'polished' test imvho; it's about presence an style rather than accent.

ThatsNotMyRabbit · 03/12/2015 13:09

Selina has been vile throughout. Sulky, petulant little face, sneering at everything.

Shame she didn't do You're Fired. I would have been interested to see if she showed a more likeable side; a lot of them do.

But then I suspect she hasn't got a nicer side.

maggiethecat · 03/12/2015 13:11

Charlene and Selina surely give women in business a bad name - Selina whingey and manipulative and Charlene often behaving like a ranting lunatic (she's definitely the most annoying candidate).
Despite criticism of April she makes the remaining lot look like toddlers on the loose.

APlaceOnTheCouch · 03/12/2015 13:12

SheHas yy I was Shock and Grin at that comment from Vanna. I thought they might have picked up on it. Karren absolutely went through them the week they put false discounted signs on their market stall but it was ok for Vanna to 'guess the details' on a £1m sale?!

Akire · 03/12/2015 13:14

It was very hard to watch when the losing team were looking around flat and only got excited when talking about how much profit they would get. A trained chimp could sold them. Why would you as a developing out source your flats for sale and lose price? Surely it's not more work sell 350k flat or a million.

Charlene should make it to final with ex navy guy who has improved since he got told to tone it down. Goodness knows what their business plans are like mind.

Does it end before Christmas? 7 left only two get to final? Though this year we have lost quite a few doubles so maybe one week not fire anyone?

maggiethecat · 03/12/2015 13:29

Charlene has to avoid the board room as she won't survive it - Alan must cringe at the thought of working with her. Richard looks like the most sensible, deserving at the moment but perhaps a bit too posh for Alan?

SheHasAWildHeart · 03/12/2015 13:37

I actually like Richard.

I don't think that Alan could imagine himself working with Charleine. He's not too fond of how corporate Gary is. And he think Joseph is too young. I think it'll be close between the other three, and what their business plan is will determine the winner.

VegetablEsoup · 03/12/2015 13:39

wrt to 'guess the details' I assume she has taken those from the 'show' flat?

APlaceOnTheCouch · 03/12/2015 14:05

VegetablE well you would hope so but in which case she didn't have to 'guess the flow of the rooms because her parents were architects'. Hmm She could just have said the 2-bed/1-bed/delete as applicable has this layout so your's will be similar.

JAPAB · 03/12/2015 14:13

Does it end before Christmas? 7 left only two get to final? Though this year we have lost quite a few doubles so maybe one week not fire anyone?

Three Wednesdays left before Christmas. How about a double next week, leaving five for the interviews. Then three fired after the interviews. Final episode then has two.

Daily Mail article includes a video that Selina put on line:

'They were disingenuous to me': Selina Waterman-Smith claims 'issues' with The Apprentice producers were the reason for her refusal to appear on spin-off

Daily Mail 3rd December 2015

The Apprentice's Brett slams 'nightmare' contestant Selina Waterman Smith, claiming she was 'mollycoddled' by producers

Daily Mirror, 3rd December 2015

Akire · 03/12/2015 15:26

Hope they get new guy that follows them around to still do the interviews. "This is a load of rubbish- get out!" He was the best.

christinarossetti · 03/12/2015 15:37

Gosh. She's going to be fucked if the company's legal team take action against her, isn't she?

BugritAndTidyup · 03/12/2015 18:52

Thank god Selina's gone. Just that smug smirk on her face in the cafe... I don't condone violence, but sometimes I have dreams where I'm trying to punch someone and can't quite connect - her expressiom recalls that almost painful feeling of rage and frustration because I want to thump someone and I can't. And she was trying to turn it around and make it look like Charleine was manipulative!

I didn't find this episode that interesting. Property, blah. Next week looks fun though.

I find the sycophantic tittering in the boardroom when Suralan makes a joke at someone's expense rather sickening though.

And Scott! What a knob. He obviously knew he wasn't going to last much longer, but at least stay for the reward you utter pillock. You can fuck off afterwards. Sulky tosspot.

JAPAB · 03/12/2015 19:08

So the second resigning in eleven series, and both times it was people who otherwise would have progressed to the next stage.

Can only remember one firing from the winning team and that was in Young Apprentice. Although he did tell them before the task that as there were two teams of three and he only needed two people in next week's final, someone would be fired from the winning team also.

chocomochi · 03/12/2015 19:30

Yes, the annoying tittering when suralan does his bullying remarks in the boardroom. Why does anyone put up with his constant insults and put-downs? It grates on me and I want to scream at the tv for the candidates to grow a backbone! Good on Scott for quitting as it must be demoralising to be torn apart week after week.

APlaceOnTheCouch · 03/12/2015 19:46

Good on Scott for quitting
YY I feel like that too. There's no need for Sir Alan to be such an arse. It's rude and bullying and tbh if you were in an interview process and they acted like that you would think 'fuck this for a game of soldiers' and thank your lucky stars that you didn't have to work with them.

BlandandInsipid · 03/12/2015 19:56

Selina was my most hated candidate. She was such a bitch.
Found this series a bit boring up to now, but last night DTD with DH and found myself thinking of Gary. . . . Not sure how that happened after he talked about shitting in the show flat.

BYOSnowman · 03/12/2015 19:59

Sounds like a total mood killer!

Jibberjabberjooo · 03/12/2015 21:04

I think Selina is doing all this for attention, we'll see her in 'celeb' BB next. Hmm

CFSsucks · 03/12/2015 21:48

I think Lord Sugar is a twat to them to way he talks. He always cuts them off and bullys them. No one would act like that in an actual job interview. Also pointing is rude!

I HATED Selina, beyond happy the sneering cow is gone. Charliene said something about her on twitter I think. It says something when more than 1 contestant says she's full of shit.

I like Charliene and think she is one of the more credible candidates. I also think Brett is quite good but not really a winner. I really don't like Richard. He is such a smug twat!

Vana seems to be getting better. I didn't like her at first but she was good last night.

CFSsucks · 03/12/2015 21:49

I agree jibber. I think she will do a Luisa Zissman.

originalmavis · 03/12/2015 21:58

Or a Katie Hopkins

Preciousxbane · 03/12/2015 22:31

Selina reminded me of my younger sister! we don't get on.

I admired Scott for quitting, that episode was one of the best for lots of oohs, even DH who is pretty calm was all fired up.

maggiethecat · 03/12/2015 23:11

credible? is that how you would expect a candidate to behave? every week she appears to be in a rage with someone - usually Richard or Selina - in a childish strop and remarks such as " `I may not have the poshest accent" do point to a complex
