Tiggery, at about the appropriate time, (married) Johnnie shagged (married or partnered) Carla's mum, so it was always possible that Carla was his daughter. Tracey's murderous ex, Rob, had figured this out and threatened Johnnie that he'd tell everyone if Johnnie didn't give him £10k. Johnnie doesn't have a spare £10k, so told Carla himself.

Agree that the Connors were brought in too soon. I haven't warmed to Johnny at all. Carla has never mentioned her Dad and Northampton we met him. Therefore the storyline is very hard to care about. I also can't believe that new characters who haven't really bedded in are getting the big Christmas storylines. So dull!

Nor have we met him, not Northampton. Bloody stupid phone.

Carla's late husband Paul Connor was Michelle's brother. I don't know or care who the new Connors are.
