Roy was divorced from Tracey. She'd tricked him into thinking he was Amy's father, but I can't remember exactly why they got married.

His first wife was Tracey.

Just googled Roy - him and Hayley paid Tracey so they could keep the baby, and he married her so he would have parental rights.

I thought it was particularly boring tonight. Nessa and her hair... Kylie and David and the cucumbers... Aidan and his silk socks...

Perhaps the socks will herald the beginning of a Corrie gangland feud. Or something. The horror on Michelle's face when she realised Wotshisname Connor had discovered they were missing was...completely baffling yet not so intriguing that we'll have remembered it by the time the next episode trundles around.

Kylie and David should have had a cucumber duel on the spot.

Agree boring episode it's like one those that they hD ditch half of it. I know lets waste time in every scene-que the shall I stand or sit conversation with Rita. She's a bliming hairdresser she only had pinned it up surely you could wash it and blow dry it in 15min.

Am shocked about Roy and Tracey only been watching it for a few years! Why is the Connor son staying at the pub still?

Only decent thing is start of affair for Mary. It's about the most exciting thing she's ever done.

on a complete derail of the thread - last night I was working my way through 'the village part one' riveting but depressing drama that it is - and suddenly exclaimed 'it's Tim' and sure enough he (or the actor who plays him) was in this drama - good for him and perhaps it explains why he is not a one-character player like lots I could name on Corrie (but it would take too long).

I've just caught up on the last couple of weeks episodes, although I don't know why I bothered. There are so many things that just don't make sense or haven't been explained.
Does Ty still have a share in the garage? Wasn't mentioned when Kevin gave Sophie a share.
Who is running Streetcars? And what happened to Lloyds share?
Why do Michelle and Liz etc use the Rovers back room so much, they were in their Pjs in there the other week, a few years ago we saw the flat upstairs a lot, it has a kitchen and a living room so why don't they use that?
I can't stand Nessa, why is Audrey employing her when she seemingly can't stand her either? Just wanted to have a moan about it really!

The writing team really need to be overhauled. The socks story was the most boring one this year (which is saying something) and though the Nessa hair sabotage story had potential, it was ruined by Audrey only pinning it up as Akire says yet Nessa was saying she had to go another salon to get it fixed

Aidan scratching at himself, about the socks. It was just so stupid. The hair thing just dragged on and on.
Kylie saying David was throwing money away because of a cucumber. Jeez, bring it back to the shop, if it was that expensive.

And once again, was it night or day. I've no idea about prison visiting hours, but it seemed to be daylight, when Johnny was at the prison, but the party had started at the Bistro.

I think they don't actually have writers, I think they have two big buckets.
One with 'plot' written on, one with 'Characters' written on.

Pull from pot A, "Oooh blackmail plot", pull from pot B, " Carla, Rob and Johnny. Well that's this months stories sorted"

Surely Liz and Johnny aren't going to be 'an item'!

Also, does this make Carla her late husband's cousin?

Tyrone sold his share of the garage back to Kev when he needed money to go on the run. The Rovers was rebuilt after the fire so I assume that what was the living area upstairs is bedrooms

Loved Mary's line about how her new man "should be less married", and Audrey pointing out that, as an experienced and professional hairdresser, she wouldn't have created Nessa's do "by accident".

Yes, I agree. It would also explain stupid stuff like Ken wearing jeans being a 'storyline', not once, but twice .

It also explains the Simon storyline.
