So we're supposed to believe they slept together after all we'd seen was kissing and pulling away in guilt. She slept with Martin at the same time as revenge/just because she could/because she couldn't have what she wanted.
Stacey is a supremely selfish character and I couldn't give two shits about the guy mooning around with the key, it will just be another chance for Stacey to screech and be unreasonable to everyone around her. She didn't want Kush when he was single. She was cruel to Shabnam when she tore up the scan picture and screamed at her. Every drama and incident has to be about her. She was wise and together when she came back and now she's back to being at the mercy of her genitals. Can't stand her now. Also completely despise Kush for mistreating Shabnam like this. He looks like the sloth out of Ice Age to me.

Agree Bleeding about Ms Slater, she treated poor Bradley Branning like dirt during their on and off relationship, dumped the guy she lived with in london ( he was in Busted -Matt Willis, not sure what his name was in the soap) as soon as Kat came knocking. I know Archie raped her and Jean was a difficult mother at times, but her actions do tend to be all about her, all the time! She should have dumped Max, but she let that drag on too even though she knew he was toxic ( and Brads dad to boot) as well as being married with children! She really is more messed up than Ronnie sometimes and thats saying something. I suppose we are meant to feel for her, but if she was a bit less selfish we might. She wanted Kush to know really, she has to make it about her despite Shabs being her ' bff' !

I'm not angry at the characters, I'm angry at the writers for doing this to
Shabnam.

I do feel sorry for her and think she's done remarkably well to resestablish her life so why do the writers have to give her cheating and subterfuge storylines again. Go somewhere else with her. Why tell anyone about it if you don't want to admit it to anyone? Why leave scan picture out to be found? Kush can't live with this secret, bound to Stacey in deceit and through a child. Starting his wedding day with this lie. Has he not heard of condoms?!
I think we're meant to see her as plucky and wronged but after what Shabnam has been through it feels a step too far.

How is Kush supposed to go on about his life pretending whilst his baby is living a few doors away and calling another man dad? Missing all the key moments like the birth, first days of his life, the early years, school, growing up etc etc. He won't be able to do it.

It'll come out, soon.They'll be tears, heartache and the only result will be Kush and Shabnam splitting up and Shabnam moving away from Walford.

Btw, the way the wedding was carried out was not normal by Asian/Muslim wedding standards at all. There are key feasts including the waleema which is a feast that takes place after the nikah. There's a lot more than just a quick recital of vows in front of a gathering. And the nikah is usually in the mosque. With a short sermon. It was done all wrong.

And agree Stacey is quite unlikeable. The scenes she has with Shabnam are quite sweet but she treats everyone else like shit. She's unbearable when she's cackling with Kat. B

True, but as she seemed to spending every scene before the birth planning the wedding, I would have expected at least some food. It would be considered totally and utterly unacceptable to the aunties to have no food for wedding guests. In fact, in most of our families you can't even pop down for a quick visit without an array of sweet and savoury dishes being laid out in front of you. To not feed wedding guests would be unthinkable.
